Defective product, no solution

I spent 88 dollars on a backpack, for my daughter to use it in school for all of three weeks before the side pockets and zippers broke. Unfortunately for me this company does not consider this a defect and only has a 30 day return policy. I am out almost 90 dollars with a supposed high end back pack that my daughter now cannot use. I even semt pictures and all I received back was a sorry for your experience but we cannot make an exception... I was out of the return window by 4 days, with a backpack that literally fell apart.
