A warning fo everyone who use Bolt Taxi in Thailand

I had an accident during a Bolt motorbike ride in Pattaya while it was raining. A car cut in front of us, the driver braked suddenly, and we both fell to the ground.

I suffered visible injuries (bleeding abrasions on my knees and elbow), and I provided Bolt with photos and trip details as evidence.

Despite this, Bolt refused to open an internal incident report or provide any insurance support. They advised me to contact the police and handle everything directly with the driver, which is unrealistic for a traveler leaving the country the next day.

The only “compensation” offered was a 50 THB discount code, which is frankly unacceptable given the circumstances.

I am very disappointed with how this situation was handled. Passengers should be aware that in case of an accident, Bolt may not provide meaningful support.

Whatever you do ..do bot chose this firm

Whatever you do ..do bot chose this taxi firm because they seem cheap .... ordered a taxi off them that said 4 minutes then I was told 5-6 mins ..then 5 minutes later I was told 15 mins and asking me to confirm it I didn't confirm it and my neighbour dropped me off ... later when I came out of sainsburies thought I'd give them another chance so used the app to order a taxi from sai sources to my home 10 - 15 mins later I get a txt off bolt saying the car was outside my house I phoned to taxi driver ( disgusting piece of poo who tells me it's my fault and wouldn't pick me off and phoned in to say I had cancelled for which I'd be charged £4 apparently they use this scam quite a lot . The drivers are disgustingly arrogant bordering on abusive they seem to have no respect for their passengers . If you've ever taken any notice of trustpilot reviews listen to what I've just said absolutely dire taxi firm in fact without a shadow of a doubt the worst ever I've had the misfortune to use AVOID THIS COMPANIES DRIVERS LIKE THE PLAGUE . A DRIVER IS A REFLECTION OF THE COMPANY AND ANY COMPANY THAT TREATS ITS CUSTOMERS WITH SO MUCH DISDAIN CANNOT BE A VIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY ......BE WARNED YOU WILL REGRET USING THEM .....
