First time user today and awful experience so I cancelled my account same day.
Downloaded the app and put all my details in.
Kept repeatedly asking me to confirm things and kept asking me to take pictures of my driving licence multiple times.
Scanned multiple scooters at multiple points to be told they are reserved.
Then when I find one it says start ride and starts billing me then it says this scooter is parked illegally!?
I try and end the ride but a glitch in app froze my phone out as I couldn't end ride and cancel and I physically couldn't use my phone everything froze but counter per minute charging was still running!
Tried everything and had to use my work phone to phone their customer service.
I mean what the hell!?
First experience and last after the guy on end of phone even said they do experience glitches very often.
An app that freezes your phone is ridiculous.
I had high expectations of Bolt app for work commuting but this was awful.
Even at the designated spots were the scooters were parked at actual bolt stations with signage I couldn't get 4g signal so how these other people are able to use them I don't know.
On the help side it says take photo of scooter and other things to cancel ride but how can you do that when your devices freeze!?
Just awful.

Most of the scooters are falling apart, indicators don't work, handle bars pointing a different direction to the front wheel. Customer services don't bother to reply. Voi scooter were by far better and more reliable.

Would give 0 if option available.
They keep giving permision to residents on Pengwern grove L15 access and yet they ride dangerouly and put public at danger, park blocking pavement,
Need to be banned .

In Liverpool you changed fro voi to bolt eSchooter.
I was over the moon.
The journey with a Bolt eSchooter is dreadful.
No one of the eSchooter I used had working lights, it was dangerous to drive with cars beeping at me because I turn left or right without sign it before.
Also the eSchooter is very dangerous decreasing speed or suddenly stop in the middle of the road while on your journey. Very dangerous considering that you can cause a major cars crash accident on the road involving others. Shame on you to put out a service of so low level. As they are now they are dangerous and as soon my monthly pass goes I ll not use them.

When we were choosing the scooter, we emailed for further details and received sensible advice by return. The Bolt Scooter Co dispatched the scooter the same day and it was delivered overnight. We would have no reservations recommending them to others.
