Owner of shop blatantly lies online
On Sunday 8th June me and my friend hired 2 Ebikes for 8 days, and paid €180 each.. On the next day I fell off my bike and cracked my left ribs. I returned the bike the next morning. I expected the owner to be empathic, but instead he said the terms and conditions did not allow refunds. The terms and conditions were not mentioned to me on hiring the bike. Nor did I sign an agreement for these.
He offered me a voucher for 2 days but as I am from England it was of no use.
The owner replied to my google review and stated he had offered me €90. This was a BLATANT LIE. What he offered me was witnessed by another employee and customer. . If he had offered me €90 I would have accepted this even though it was €40 short of the 6 days payment. This owner cared not a jot for my injury, or the fact I couldnt cycle with my friend for the rest of my holiday. Anyone half decent would have reimbursed me, especially as he was able to rent out the bike to someone else. He was far more interested in keeping money owed to me, so much so that he was prepared to lie online.
