New NHS patient after seeing it advertised

I waited 45 minutes before I was seen the dental nurse was whispering to the receptionist and ask how old I was when I finally saw the dentist lots of chat about nothing done a quick check I have a very lose tooth said to have it out NHS had to be referred (which I have never heard off) would take about year or more but I could have it done privately which is quicker £105 I feel really let down and felt was just trying to sell private treatment obviously not going back and certainly would never recommend

Unjustified premium pricing for a very poor experience

I went to this practice intending to book a hygiene appointment with airflow, but decided not to proceed after my experience.

The customer service was poor from the outset. The reception felt cold, unwelcoming, and unprofessional — not the standard you expect from a healthcare provider, especially one charging premium prices.

I was quoted £155 for hygiene with airflow, which is considerably higher than other practices in Kensington, including clinics with far better reputations. Based on the level of professionalism and service I encountered, this practice is simply not of a standard that justifies such pricing.

This felt like a local practice attempting to charge premium-clinic prices without delivering a premium experience. I chose not to book and would strongly advise others to compare both price and professionalism elsewhere before committing.

Unprofessional and disorganised

I had a very poor experience at Bond Dental London (Notting Hill).

My appointment did not start until around 20 minutes after the scheduled time. Despite having completed all required forms in advance, they had not been reviewed, which caused further delay and repetition.

During the appointment, inappropriate comments were made. No assistance or consideration was provided despite the fact that I had indicated in advance that I am pregnant and had also booked an appointment for my baby.

There is no lift in the building, and nothing was said or done to address accessibility or safety.

Overall, the consultation felt disorganised and unprofessional. The clinical check itself was extremely brief and involved no meaningful assessment or explanation.

I would not recommend this practice.

Went for an emergency assessment

Went for an emergency assessment at Bond Dental Notting Hill. A day before my appointment I made a payment online as a deposit which was agreed upon. As soon as my assessment was over the exact amount of money that I made as a deposit was asked of me for which I refused to pay. They still owe me money for the diference which they claim they have payed into my account which does not show. Beware, the scam started right after my dental assessment when I was still in pain.

Bond Dental have taken over my Dentist…

Bond Dental have taken over my Dentist Nigel Meyer Associates and if I want to continue to use I have to pay private prices so a NHS filling that is £75:30 will cast you £175 making and profit of £100!
They palm you off on a dental therapist and you loose your trusted dentist of 15 year
They are vague with estimate cost 1st quote £400 for one white filling ! I said I am NHS (did not ask for white filling) they then quoted £175 metal NHS ? £75 !! Oh you can have Nigel you’d have to have a therapist.
Such a shame I know Nigel Meyer Associates wants to not run the business but sold to Bond Dental who take away what you had and offer a therapist terrible
I am moving to Zental their prices are better more friendly understanding and you are seen by a dentist not a therapist!

harmful treatment advice

I’m incredibly disappointed and frustrated with my experience here. They aggressively pushed unnecessary procedures on me under the guise of “preventative care.” Invisalign? Sure, I can understand that. But then they claimed my fillings urgently needed to be replaced — supposedly because there was "decay" and I had only two to three weeks before… what, exactly? The dentist was vague and alarmist.

When I questioned this (the filling was only about 5 years old), she said they need replacing every 5–7 years. But when I did my research, I found that composite fillings typically last 10 or more years with good dental health. This kind of misinformation isn’t just cheeky — it’s potentially harmful. Drilling into perfectly good teeth causes irreversible damage.

To be sure, I got second and third opinions from two separate dentists. Both confirmed that my fillings were in good condition and no work was needed. I walked away feeling like this place prioritizes profit over patient care. I won’t be back.
