I loved that I didn’t have to book the refuges or hotels. I loved that the meal plan was organised for me. I loved that the route was given to us on an app where the maps could be downloaded and the blue dot of my phone’s GPS always worked to show us where we were on the trail map. The communication was great by email, useful info was sent including confirmations when each of your accommodation was booked. All we had to do was book our flights and get to the start point.
To improve further they could offer a bag drop at the start of the trek and deliver that bag to the end of the trek so you don’t have to carry everything for your holiday on the trek with you.

All our accommodations were great
All our accommodations were great, a good mix of apartment style and hotel, places that didn’t have breakfast had a kitchen so you could make your own, staff were all lovely at the different places. Baggage service was excellent, our bags made it before us every day.
The hike was beautiful but definitely challenging in parts.

Local guide and managemend will get you throuhg the situations when you will feel lost.
With these guides and porters, you can not think much about trekking. You just have to get to the beginning point, and then they will take care of you!

I would have given zero stars if that…
I would have given zero stars if that would have been a possibility. We haven’t consumed our trip yet but already have a problem with bookatrekking. They are quite expensive but are not willing to go the extra mile that comes with the bill. We are planning to hike the Mullerthal trail. For 2 days hiking with luggage transportation we pay €750+ per person. Not even breakfast is included and they refuse to contact the B&B (what does the B stand for…..) to arrange a proper breakfast.
This is a non-committed money-machine with contempt for their customers.

In some accommodations along the route, breakfast cannot be added in advance, even upon request. In your case, our team explained this, but we understand that this is disappointing.
That said, we truly care about our trekkers and their experience. If there’s anything else we can still assist with to help you prepare for your hike, we’re here for you.

Ghorepani and Poon Hill Trek
We absolutely loved everything about our trek to Poon Hill and Ghoreoani and the staff of alpine ramble! Our guide Tek and porter Karna were so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed at all times during the hike.
Also Dil was fantastic to organise with and made the process very easy!
I 100% recommend this company for any trek in Nepal!

Trekking with the Bookatrekking was amazing, the team in Nepal is fabulous. A very well briefed when we arrived in Kathamndu by Dil and guide Addit and porters were phenomenal, every day was blast, we were taken care making sure we ll had a great night sleep, good food and well being. We felt we are well taken care of from the very beginning pf the trip to the end. Could not asked better guides then them. The best experience in our life. Bookatrekking provide a turn-key service. They booked all the huts for me on the Alta Via 2, provided guidance, maps and gps navigation and tips for all parts of the trip. They were easy to contact and were extremely helpful throughout the process. All of these things made my trip easy and worry free. While on the trek, I spoke to many other hikers who had tried to organise their own treks. They all reported that it had been a nightmare booking huts. I avoided all that hassle by going with Bookatrekking. I recommend them and would definitely use them again!

Basically everything we asked for you took on board and made happen even if it is was a request possibly not often thought about and asked for. This made the walking trek so much more enjoyable and allowed everything fall into place like clockwork. The communication upfront was in…
The communication upfront was in sufficient and took very long. Even things that were communicated weeks and month before were not addressed and needed to be taken care off only on site and then very shortterm, which didn’t radiate trust. The porters were amazing though and super friendly, helpful and nice! Everyone that was with us in the hike was super nice and friendly, it was only the managing department that was clearly lacking. The guide wasn’t super sufficient in English, and better accommodations could’ve been chosen.

Manaslu trek with bookatrekking and Alpine
We had a great time with Iman and Dil where we did the Manaslu Circuit trek. They were very friendly, helpful and everything was always well organised. Despite the bad weather, the atmosphere remained very good and we were eventually even able to finish the circuit, while this was not the case for many. We laughed a lot and we will definitely come back for another circuit trek. Iman and Dil are brothers for life.

Rewarding Hikes with knowledgeable guide
Our guide was fantastic. He gave us the benefit of his local knowledge and experience by adjusting our itinerary in anticipation of sleet and snow (!!!) in October, so we ended up having four great hikes. He encouraged us and had so much positive energy.

Family Friendly
Trail Maps were great and that you could download them into an app that you were familiar which was also good. We could safely go at our own pace knowing everyone had good support. We travelled as a family of 8 adults and the huts made sure we were looked after together.
