Scam!!!! I was scammed out of £1800 banks couldn’t do anything. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE

I feel absolutely sick to my stomach writing this, like so many others reviewing here, we have all been conned and ripped off by these loathsome heinous scammers. I booked 2 return flights to Australia late last year, immediately received an email titled 'Online Booking Acknowledgment' confirming the £1996 price as 'Total for services' saying their sales team would contact me. Steve called straight away and explained this price did not include checked baggage, this would cost an extra £264. After a short negotiation, agent Steve agreed to a reduced price of £132 in total for all bags. I agreed to pay, was sent a payment link, paid and then received their confirmation email, Steve asked me to check the details. There was a lot of information to read but I did notice the 'Total Flight Itinerary Fare' was £4328 I queried this immediately and Steve explained this would have been the fare if booked direct with the airline and he reassured me there would be nothing further to pay. It sounded plausible and naively I had no reason to assume he was lying. When I did not receive my e-tickets 48 hours later, I contacted Steve only to be told by Gavin, Steve was on leave! At this point I knew I had been conned and sure enough the demands for the 'final balance' arrived in my inbox and continued in response to my demands for an explanation of their blatant misrepresentation. I contacted my bank's Fraud Team and Action Fraud but sadly, despite providing all the evidence I had gathered through the email thread etc. my bank have refused to refund me and Action Fraud after reviewing my report said this ''A fraud or cyber crime, having been recorded, has not been allocated for investigation because the assessment process has determined there are insufficient lines of enquiry to warrant such dissemination'' It sickens me that these scammers continue to get away with this, every week another review here and in most cases, the exact same scam, it is blatant theft and shocking that in my case my bank (Lloyds) has come out in favour of the fraudsters especially as I have been a loyal customer for 45 years!!!. Do yourself a favour and AVOID!

Avoid – Misleading, dishonest, and possible scam

I booked a return flight from London to Koh Samui for March 2026 through Booknfly and paid £762.53.

Before payment, I specifically asked about baggage allowance and was told it would appear after payment. After paying, no baggage allowance was shown and I was later asked to pay extra. I was repeatedly given different names by the same representative (“Danny” / “Garry”), which immediately raised concerns.

I was never issued an actual e-ticket, only a booking reference. When I contacted Thai Airways directly, they confirmed that:

No valid e-ticket had been issued

The booking had been cancelled by the agent on 18 November 2025 without informing me

A booking reference alone is not sufficient to travel

When I requested a refund, I was offered only £24.38 out of £762.53 or pressured to accept a voucher instead of a monetary refund. I was also repeatedly given false information about waiting for “special prices” and ticket issuance dates that never happened.

This company failed to provide the service paid for, misrepresented booking status, withheld cancellation information, and refused a proper refund. Their website address and Companies House financial records also appear questionable.

I am now reporting this matter to my bank’s fraud team, Action Fraud UK, and relevant authorities.

Do not use this company. Book directly with the airline or a reputable agent only.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star fell for booking 2 adults for flight when I talked to them on phone paid and booked flights 29 November 2025 phoned them 2weeks later to ask for etickets said they are on hold because of cheap fare been phoning them since November for etickets until 11 Feb 2026 they are asking for another 1500 which at no time talking to them since November did they say I needed to pay extra they are scammers don't use them

I was made to FALL IN THIS SCAM by this company. Their agents pretending as VICTOR, STEVE promised me round trip fare for 1945 GBP all inclusive and later sending me mails saying this was just agency fees.

Same tickets available at airline fee for cheaper, THESE ARE SCAMMERS JUST RIPPING OFF MONEY, I will be reporting them to ACTION FRAUD, POLICE and SOCIAL MEDIA.

THEY ARE TAKING OFF PEOPLE'S HARD EARNED MONEY..

And worst thing, when you ask for refund, THEY START ABUSING...

Also THIS IS HAPPENING WITH THEIR MD GOVIND KUMAR PART OF THIS BIG SCAM. MANY PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THIS SCAM….

This company is a scam

They give you a different price on the website and start ringing to make a payment via the link sent to avoid losing the offer . Once payment is made then they ask for additional payment because what was paid already was a deposit.

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THESE SCAMMERS!! I booked a one way flight to Australia for £900, i received all the confirmation emails but then rand Qatar Airways a day before my flight to confirm, gave my details and there was no booking under my name….turns out the £900 was just a deposit for the flight and then they were requesting another £900+ off me which was not mentioned anywhere (over the phone, website or on my confirmation email)

This company need to blacklist as soon as it takes, they scammed me 980 quids my original flight was on 21 dec but they send me the link for pay and changed my flight on 24 Dec and give me very cheap ticket *economy light) and send me another bill of 980 pounds ,and keep lying until last minutes that they gonna change my flying date until last minutes.they are based in india and UK with doggy british names Rooney, David, etc etc don't trust this scammers and try to blacklist this company as soon as possible. Because they changed my dates of flight now i am getting hard time from kids school as well.

They are scammers. They have taken £500 deposits and cancelled tickets. They say we have to use the voucher and book with economy flex which is expensive but we asked them to book with economy value but they refuse to book it. It is 4 months that they waste our time

This scammer company they not even 1 star.they cheating alots people including me,they stealing my £565 with no ticket.i have been reported to police and Citizens advised,now I’m waiting brings them to the court.2 address they give me are fake.i went there are fake address.then i go to the police station near there they to me fake and scammer address .

At the start of booking a flight to Perth for £1700.00 a pop up appeared saying”Sale Cheap flights to Perth “ . I stupidly decided to look and found they were £500 cheaper so without hesitation l booked . The next day l received a call from the Manager Jacob saying “Did l know l had booked and paid for a flight with no meals or baggage. It did not say at the start it was only flights. I asked to cancel and was told it would cost me another £700 and also it would cost another £700 to add meals and luggage. That makes it more than any other flight including meals and luggage . I am having an ongoing case with New Day Credit card because they say they
have done nothing wrong!!!
This is definitely misrepresentation a sign should have said Flights only not meals and luggage.
An update is thattodayJacob very kindly refunded the whole amount , so l am very happy to be rid of all the anxiety knowing l can enjoy Christmas. This should never have happened if advertising clearer, but thank Jacob who resolved it satisfactorily.

This is a complete scam company as many have said. They do appear on the ATOL list so it might be worth reporting via them

Sell flights and a week later say you only paid a deposit and wanted another £700

Changing prices. Promised to give £200 in vouchers if not upgraded. After three months of chasing countless calls and several emails nothing has materialised. I have not faith, confidence or trust in this company and will never use them again!

The same experience happened to me I paid my balance in full £1800 then a month later demanded an extra £989 otherwise my flights would be cancelled. Luckily I can get the money back from my bank! I wish I’d of done some research on them before booking, in future I will. Lesson learned.
I have also reported them to the police fraud team.

I am writing this review to explain my experience with BooknFly, as the issue was not a single pricing dispute, but a pattern of changing conditions, confusing charges, and refusal to acknowledge overpayment.

First experience (summer):
After I completed my booking and payment, I was contacted and told that the ticket I had booked was a direct flight, and that direct flights cost more. I was asked to pay an additional £700.

I was then told that if I did not want to pay the extra £700, the booking could be changed to a one-stop flight instead. However, even after agreeing to change to a one-stop flight, I was still asked to pay an additional £500. None of these extra charges were clearly disclosed before I made the original payment.

Throughout this process, the conditions of the booking were changed after payment, and I was repeatedly pressured to pay more in order for the ticket to be issued. When I questioned this and asked for a refund, a refund was refused. Instead, I was given a voucher, which could only be used on a future booking with BooknFly.

Second experience (later booking):
Because I had been issued a voucher, I had little choice but to book with BooknFly again in order to recover any value.

During this second booking, the price was increased at the time of booking, and I was charged twice. When I questioned why two payments had been taken, BooknFly denied that this was an overcharge and stated that both charges were correct.

I was later told that this was because my ticket and my child’s ticket had been deliberately split into separate tickets, which resulted in multiple charges. This was not made clear in advance, and the way the charges were presented made it very difficult to understand the true total cost.

When I challenged this and requested a refund, BooknFly refused to acknowledge that I had been overcharged.

Outcome:
As I was unable to resolve this directly with BooknFly, I raised the matter with my bank. After review, the bank refunded the full amount, confirming that the charges could not be justified as presented.

At the time of writing this review, BooknFly’s website also appears to be inaccessible.

Conclusion:
This experience involved changing booking conditions after payment, repeated demands for extra money, splitting tickets to justify multiple charges, refusal to accept responsibility, and denial of refunds. I strongly advise anyone considering BooknFly to be extremely cautious and to verify all booking details and prices directly with the airline before making any payment.

I am sharing this experience to help others avoid the same situation.

Scam website, don't use them as they say the price over the phone is total but when you pay the price and receive the invoice they say it was just the deposit and demand more money or will cancel the flights, Steve Davis one of there employees said the price was total but lied to us and said he told us it was a deposit only, total liar and scumbag please don't use these scammers.

My husband booked flight with this scam company. And after paying the initial full amount of £1375- single ticket to India, received another email from them saying he needs to pay £1900 more as the initial payment was only the base fare.
Furthermore, Victor (probably fake name) got aggressive when this was enquired and said to my husband that he needs to pay the remaining amount by 5pm same day. Or else the ticket would not be issued. And also the amount is non-refundable. He also said that if my husband wants, he could speak to his bank.

My husband took the case with bank, and after two months of reviewing and chasing, we got our money back from credit card charge back department (luckily)
So please be careful before dealing with this scam company.

Scam warning this company are fraudsters keep well away booked a flight to Australia costing £1200 before paying any money I asked them if that was the total cost of my flight and they insisted that was the total nothing else to pay then after paying got a email with breakdown of payment saying the £1200 was a deposit and had another £1600 to pay rang them and they were adamant I don’t owe nothing just liars scum bags cancelled in the end wouldn’t give them another penny of my money robbing people like like how can that be allowed fraudsters keep well away from booknfly

This company are scammers please avoid at all cost.they are taking your money then they will increase the price and if you don't pay the extre money you will not get your ticket so please avoid this company all your lose you money
