Ghosted you and refused to pay
I signed a contract with BookSeats to create one UGC video for $450. BookSeats approved my script on January 23rd with their specific edits. I delivered the completed video on January 26th per their approved script. They ghosted for over a month, then refused payment on February 24th, claiming they disapproved of the work—12 days AFTER our 30-day contract expired.
This is unprofessional behavior by a company that received the deliverable, then refused payment by retroactively claiming different requirements. They had multiple opportunities to address concerns during the contract term, but chose to ghost instead. This takes advantage of independent creators and violates clear contract terms.
