Never received the products. Don’t use this company as others have said it is a scam

Avoid purchasing from Books Know No Age! I ordered twilight dust jackets back in July. Currently and at the time of ordering, their website had no annoucements stating that orders would be delayed/the shop was on holidays or that the item I ordered was not in stock. Everything seemed fine and that orders were being shipped.

After almost two weeks of no updates and my order status still showing preparing shipment I reached out via email and instagram to see if there was any updates on my order. No response despite their website saying that they will get back to you within 24 hours. I contacted them again and received no response.

After hearing radio silence from them I had a quick google search and found that i'm not the only one who hasn't received their items. There is a reddit thread with numerous people who haven't received responses or the items they purchased. Multiple people including myself have had to file charge back claims with our bank regarding this business.

A month later, I still have no update on my items and a charge back with my bank is in progress which the owner is now trying to dispute! It's bonkers!!

Avoid this business at all costs, the owner is known to delete comments regarding orders on all of their social media channels as well so potential buyers have no idea that they wont receive their items!!!

Placed an order 2 months ago for something which says in the description is ready for shipping. Got my confirmation but the order was never updated, no tracking or anything. I had a strange feeling my item wasn't going to arrive. I tried to contact them via their website and email multiple times but got ignored. Has to do a chargeback on my card in the end. Avoid this scam business!

I bought some gifts for my partner from this site on 1st March. They still haven’t arrived.
I have messaged multiple times, I told them that it was a gift and have asked about the package multiple times.
The Royal Mail tracking was updated, saying that the Royal Mail were expecting the parcel on 12th March, this has been the same up until now.
The customer service is atrocious, after many messages, getting more and more serious they have still not replied to a single one.
I had seen a few negative reviews, but the positive ones gave me hope that perhaps this company had changed their ways.
Believe the negative reviews. Do not buy anything from this website unless you are looking at throwing your money away!

I ordered last year. It said it had dispatched a couple of weeks later with royal mail tracked delivery but with no tracking number. A month later I tried several times to get in touch to see where my order was and if I could have the tracking number. I got absolutely no response. I've made a charge back on my card. Of course they decided to respond to that! But they have no proof of actually sending the item. Right hassle for an item I really wanted. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I had ordered from this company a while back when they where new and finding there feet and in comparison to my recent order can only say everything has improved, speed, quality and communication, highly recommend

There was a few delays with my items, but in the end I could see that it wasn't the companies fault, there responses are slow but they are transparent as they can be. As a small run sole owner business by the end they earned a customer for life. I loved my items, I ordered 2 sweatshirts and a tumbler

Placed a preorder in April which came back into stock in May, it is currently September (5 months later) and they still haven’t arrived. Tried emailing the company 5 times and only got a reply once to which they ask me to confirm my address and then never got a reply after that. Would suggest never ordering from their website as it’s obviously a scam

Customer service is non existent. Their email seems to be for show. They don't seem to care in the slightest for their customers. Despite be fully active on social media. Definitely will not be buying again, extremely disappointed and annoyed!

Excellent products and fantastic customer service, for a small buisiness and how busy they are and the reviews I seen here I had my doubts but they really went above and beyond super happy with my order and great quality

My dustjackets did not fit. It took 3-4 months of complaining for them to send me replacements. The art work on the replacements is distorted and not okay.

They ignore you and it is really horrible to try and get a reply from them. Or they give half assed reply. Please do NOT BUY from them.

Waited months for my order. Got 'lost' several times, customer service incredibly slow to reply despite frequent social media posts. Eventually arrived only for it to be the wrong item and damaged. Replacement was promised but waited over a month and it did not arrive. Attempts to contact have been ignored

I placed an order from this company at the end of January and it still has not arrived (the end of March). I have attempted to make contact several times through their email address, contact form on their website and through their social media channels but I have been completely ignored. My order has been “in transit” to Royal Mail this entire time, meaning that they have apparently despatched it but it has not been received, so they have taken my money but I have no product. Their customer service is abysmal and I would not recommend them to anyone.
