There is a reason that KDP is the leader. I cant imagine a worse experience. They take days to get back to requests and questions. The proofs arrive with errors of their fault and then say “oh trust... See more

I spent lots of money to publish a title, you have to pay an initial fee just to get a title published on their website (around 20£), and then I ordered my proof of author, each one with a cost of £5.
Since the quality of the paper of the first order was rubbish as well as the binding quality, Curtis from the customer service suggested me to upgrade the book with a better paper, which I stupidly did.
Again, £5 spent to get my author copy with the upgraded page, as per Curtis recommendations, I realised that is impossible to colour on this type of page because it's coated (mine is a colouring book and Curtis told me that this type of page is perfect to colour on it)
There are no other options available for me, I spent over 30£ for nothing and I requested a refund but they are ignoring my emails.
On their website they claim they can print colouring books but there are no decent papers available!
The thinner page is see through and the thicker one is coated.
Time and money wasted, please avoid at all costs, there are better printing companies out there.

There is a chat service that helps you load your book. They were very helpful. The shock came at the end with print cost. I have books in different formats. The Pint cost on Book vault is more than twice as on most other platforms for the same book.
