Late card for a thirteenth…

I ordered a card for a thirteenth birthday to be posted on 10th and it arrived on the 15th, one day after the special birthday. Boomf first offered a refund then refused as it 'takes 2-3 days' to deliver'. Unless London post office has stopped Saturday deliveries this took 4-5 days. This is very poor service. Also, the confetti fell out rather than burst out.

Our Customer Service team follow the instructions for the delivery timeframes but they have since escalated the issue to the management, and we approved the full refund before seeing your review. So please note that both the full refund and a discount for your next order (should you wish to give us another chance) had been issued.

Please do forgive us for delivering it late, on very rare occasions Royal Mail does delay certain deliveries, which is beyond our control. In this instance, we dispatched the order on time but Royal Mail was one or two days late in delivering it. We shipped it on Friday the 10th of April and it was delivered on Wednesday the 15th of April.

We fully understand that this present was meant for a special occasion and that it was important to you. We hope that you do accept our sincere apologies as it is never our intention to upset our customers.

Responsive and attentive with excellent customer service!

I made an error with the order and wanted to pay extra for the delivery, however the team was quick and responsive, kindly waivered off the extra charge for delivery and requested the order become a priority.

Will definitely be ordering again! wonderful customer service and attentive.

What an absolute disappointment

What an absolute disappointment, spent £6 on a bluey mother's day card that's suppose to pop up and shoot confetti, it didn't pop up at all, had to pull and force out the card so it didn't even work, absolute disappointment and waste of £6

Please accept our sincere apologies for the product malfunction. We identified the origin of the malfunction last year, and have since fixed it.

Since you shared your email address with us, we have now sent you an email with a gift card code to cover a personalised replacement card for you. As the card was purchased at a retailer location, we were unable to process a refund as it didn't go through our payment system. We hope that you decide to give us another chance.

We are so sorry to have upset you on this occasion, and please rest assured that we constantly work on improving our production processes and Quality Control practices. Our products, including the ones we produce for retailers, are 100% handmade in the UK by our local team, and so there is a small margin for human error, which we try to do our best to bring to the absolute minimum.

It is never our intention to disappoint our customers, so we take every such report very seriously and conduct further investigations, often resulting in an improved experience for all our customers.

A mistake I made on the delivery address was corrected super-quickly!

I cannot rate Will from Boomf highly…

I cannot rate Will from Boomf highly enough for his speedy response to my query, he truly saved the day.

I ordered a card for my friend’s 50th and stupidly forgot to change the shipping address. As we don’t live in the same country it is not as easy as me popping round the corner to deliver this. I wrote to the team last night explaining my plight and first thing this morning they had responded and changed the address. This prompt response means she will get her card delivered on time and to the right address. Can’t thank Will enough.

Great website; even better support!

I messed up and input the wrong address for the card to be delivered to, I didn't realise until I received the confirmation email. So; I sent in a support ticket, brutally aware I would probably get no response until Monday, that it may be too late and I might have to resend the card myself. Well! Not even an hour later (this is on a Sunday as well) a fantastic team member of Boomf named Yurica emailed me back asking what the address was that I actually wanted it sending to; they managed to change it and sent me a screenshot of the updated details. Unfortunately, I had also input the incorrect name, rather than my Dads name, it was addressed to me but now being sent to his address. I apologised profusely for my muck up and asked (again, with no expectation that it could be fixed) if Yurica would also change the name. They did! So, within a couple of hours of my stressing and sending in a support ticket, Yurica, on a Sunday, fixed both the address and name on the card so that when it gets shipped tomorrow, it will have the right name and address!
It's a great site in general for personalised cards and presents at a reasonable price; but the support when something goes awry is thus far unmatched for me. Their support people are very quick to respond to both the original ticket and subsequent emails back and forth, and not once was I made to feel stupid for making the mistakes I made in the first instance.
