Super service

We have our properties on Boomin and we like the idea of Boomin itself, but it doesn’t streamline the process for potential tenants or us as agents. I believe one of the issues with Boomin is that when we put our properties live they are on Rightmove, Zoopla and Onthemarket within 5-30 mins but Boomin can take 1 hour or more sometimes. This then can cause Boomin users to miss out on potential viewings. The Second issue is that when tenants book in viewings we have to contact them to get more information which mean we have to contact them outside of Boomin. Having a messaging system through Boomin would be beneficial to everyone. Unfortunately out of all our viewings we have carried out from Boomin inquiries only 5% have turned up. We call up to confirm the day before and on the day but unfortunately it’s seems the rate of no shows is significantly higher on Boomin then any other. The 24/7 booking in viewing system itself is a good idea, However it could be made easier for both sides if agents could put in time slost for views on certains day. This is just due to the fact as letting agents our diaries are always so busy and have to sometimes fit viewings around landlords or tenants, which reduces the effectiveness of viewers being able to ask for viewings at any day or time. Hopefully Boomin will be able to grow and improve overtime and become a bigger part of the property portals.

Got an approximate valuation with no fuss and no hard sell from selected agents which was just what I required.

Easy to use and does everything they promise!

Very quick and easy to use. Did have to wait until Monday for replies as had submitted on the weekend but that's to be expected. As soon as Monday arrived though the valuations came in very quickly indeed. Good valuations though they 'may' possibly be a little high. Will know once the agents that valued the house have been round to inspect the house properly though.
All in all a simple tool to use and gets you in touch with 3 estate agents really quickly and easily so what's not to like!?

it didn't work!

Just in the last throws of completing a full house renovation before putting it up for rental. So thought I would try Boomin to give me a guide on what the potential rental income could be from the property, so signed up, simple enough, selected three agents from the Boomin recommendations, entered the address, condition and specification of the house and waited. Not very long at all, for the first rental indication lower than I expected, few minutes later second indication, then forty minutes later a much more considered indication, this agents had done their home work, I was impressed. I have been in contact with two of the Boomin agents and have made appointments for them to come round and carryout a full appraisal. Overall very impressed with my First Time Boomin.

No where near what the value of the property was worth

Not done anything yet and just wanted to look on their site without any surveys or adverts but you can't.

Great valuation service, there was a great difference between valuations though, but that was down to the estate agents not Boomin

Having seen an advert for Boomin and being able to get a virtual smart value without the need to have agents round I completed the enquiry form with our property details and within an hour had the first valuation. The following day my wife arrived home to find one of the 3 selected agents on the doorstep and then today on the phone trying to pressure a viewing at the weekend before we had actually had time to look and the values and consider if given legal fees and stamp duty made moving viable.

The whole idea of using this virtual service was to obtain a ball park figure to work from.

I would neither use this service again or recommend it unless you want to be pestered by phone calls also, one of the valuations was based on a 3 bedroom home and ours has 4 !

This site was well laid out, simple to use and very informative. It gave me just the guidance I wanted. I shall definitely use this again when we consider moving in a few years! Fun to use as well and the feedback was great!

Could probably do with some more estate agents in the local areas.

Fairly straight forward site to navigate and got my 3 responses from estate agents well within the deadline they are given.
There are only 2-4 selections allowed from a number of categories with several choices in each making it a challenge to pick as once the maximum is full you can’t select from another section without deleting previous.
However you do have a lengthy comment box

Quick and simple to use app, would advise everybody to give it a try before using the main stream search engines.

This is a great tool to get an idea of the worth of your home before having to commit to anything, fast service and no messing about.

Asked for advice at 9pm and had three helpful replies by 9:30am
