Signed me up for PRO without my permission

I’m curious to see results but honestly it automatically set me up for PRO which was misleading. I clicked cancel instead of signing up but it still did it.. now I have to go through a hassle to find out how to cancel my account because the website keeps glitching :/

Boost Collective is effectively a scam

Boost Collective is effectively a scam. After producing a pitiful number of streams--about 150 for well over $300 investment, I have, exactly as instructed on their website, instructed them to discontinue my campaign--which I have every right to do per the agreement. Their only response is " let us make this right." Each time I clearly insist that I am instructing them to discontinue, they ignore and say "let's try this other thing." I have had to file a fraud claim with Bank of America to discontinue their charges. I have all the correspondence to back this up. THEY ARE A FRAUD. Don't do business with them. Other playlist pitchers have produced 20 more for half the price.

Boost Collective are the real deal

Boost Collective are the real deal, and they definitely delivers on the promises that they make. Thanks to Boost Collective that my music is continually gaining traction, and is resonating with listeners and fans. My streams and playlists addition is steadily increasing, on a regular basis. Don’t waste your money and time on the other guys out there that are making false promises.

I purchase a service

I purchased a service. Immediately after purchase, I tried to go back in and confirm and my order number was invalid. And, it has been invalid ever since. So my money was taken but the system never acknowledged it?! That’s trash. And, every time I got on the website it crashes. Not a good service at all!!

Hi Perfected Electric Services LL,

Sam here from Boost Collective. It sounds like this may be a dashboard or account sync issue rather than an unrecognized order.

If you can please email support@boostcollective.ca with the email address used at checkout (and any receipt confirmation you received), I’ll personally look into it and get this sorted out for you right away.

Warning : buyer beware

First off, boost collective offers everyone bonuses and incentives to leave a positive review.

That being said, don't trust the positive reviews.

boost collective and spark teamed up to scam and rob of $1,000 under the guise of a more tailored music promotion.

During my interview with a member of spark, they explained a more tailored, year round experience can be obtained for $3000.

they agreed to hold my place for a down payment of $1000. I haven’t heard a word since.

i reach out to customer service and all they say is that they reached out to spark and i should receive a response. No response.

I reached out more and more, this time wanting my money back but the just give me the run around.

I charged back the amount, and boost collective has the audacity to claim with false paperwork they delivered my services and don't owe my money back.

What!?!?! You cant be serious. Stay away please , for your sake. They keep trying to get me to take down my reviews but this one is staying up. They are scammers and robbers, take your money fast and wont give it back

Hi Ptjesse,

We want to clarify a few important points.

In October 2025, you left Boost Collective a 5-star review following your initial experience with us. The matter you’re referencing relates to a separate tailored program discussion. As previously communicated multiple times, Spark Houston is no longer affiliated with Boost Collective.

The $1,000 payment in question was made as a deposit to hold your place in a custom program until the remaining balance was paid. We have written confirmation from you acknowledging it was a deposit to secure that spot. As outlined at the time of payment, deposits for reserved placements are non-refundable under our policy.

We strongly dispute the characterization of this as a scam. If you would like to continue this discussion constructively, please contact us directly at support@boostcollective.ca.

boost collective keeps charging me after asking to cancel

On Nov 29 2025 I paid 79$ for a campain to promote a song. After a couple of weeks, seeing that the results are not as expected I decided to cancel the campain. I exchanged some emails with Boost Collective, they trid to keep me in the loop, but I just wanted to cancel.
I just saw that they charged me again on 31 Jan 2026. And I am not even on some lists. Total scam.
I blocked my card, and probably I will have to cancel the card to avoid being charged in the future.

No promo, no invoice

I bought a basic campaign, got added to 1 playlist with tons of different tracks, so literarly no plays came out of it. What's worse is that I am not able to download invoice for my order. I am getting error, when trying to download it from the account and when I try to reach out to their email support (I did that 3 times) no one responds. Absolute rubish company and services.

Edit: You do have my info, I have provided to you, so don't lie - I gave you via Trustpilot order number and my email. I reached out to you for the fourth time just now, since you are not even able to check the info I gave yourselves. I am 100% sure, you won't answer me again. Shame on you.

Boost collective scam

I purchased the gold membership in December. However when I tried canceling it a few days later there was no indication that I had gotten a membership since I couldn't cancel it. I didn't think much of it until I got charged again in January. I tried reaching out and explaining it the problem multiple times but all the replies I got were from bots asking to "give it just 3-5 more days and check your stats on your Spotify For Artists page you will see a difference." I can not manually cancel my membership as the system doesn't recognize me having one, although I am still getting charged monthly. I can barely afford to eat as I am a student and can't have useless memberships like this draining my bank account. Do not trust boost collective, it is a scam.
If anyone from the boost collective team is reading this, please message me. I need a refund for the past 2 months where I've been trying to contact you to cancel my membership.

Hi Theodore,

All of our customer support responses are handled by real team members, which can sometimes mean replies take a few business days depending on volume. That said, you should never feel stuck or unable to cancel.

Your membership has now been fully cancelled and we’ve processed a refund for the recent charges. You’ll see that reflected back on your original payment method shortly.

We wish you the best with your music and your studies moving forward.

Boost Collective = Empty promises

Boost Collective = Empty promises. I signed on to promote my song. They said that it would be put on multiple playlists with tens of thousands of listeners. And though they claim that the Playlist they put me on had 75000 listeners my streams never increased. So one can draw their own conclusion from that. The playlist that they supposedly put me on had minimal amount of listeners. Some even had zero. I asked for country and western playlist but was put on playlist that were no where near country. I paid extra to be added on apple playlists, never happened. When I was approached to increase my subscription I voiced my concern about the lack if streams and asked for technical help in managing my account and promoting my song. I was told that someone would reach out to me, never happened. The only thing that I received was a bombardment of emails wanting me to spend more money on more promotions. This company takes your money and does nothing. I asked for a refund and received no reply. Total scam don't waste your money.

Hi Stuart,

According to our records, your track was placed across multiple playlists with a combined follower base of over 75,000. We also received one support email from you on November 24th and replied the following day on November 25th. If you didn’t see that response, it may have landed in spam or been missed.

Regarding genre fit, we categorize placements based on the audio, metadata, and how the track is positioned publicly. When there are mixed signals — including artist branding, vocal presentation, and genre blending — it can influence where a song performs best in playlist environments.

This is a complete SCAM!!!

This is a complete SCAM!
Add you to dodgy playlists, the refund policy clearly states you can have a refund in 10 days if not added to suitable playlists. I have tons of back and forth emails where they just reply saying we’ll switch the playlists, I didn’t want them switching as the playlists are all DODGY! As you can tell by checking on artist tools. Have not given me a refund. I have emailed, messaged on Instagram also, disgusting scam stealing money from music artists who are trying to get by.

Hi Gracie,

I've reviewed your concerns and issues. Our support team did try and help your campaign but unfortunately campaigns don't work out the way we want. Though not ideal, a campaign not succeeding the way we want is an indication of real organic marketing.

The playlists that you were placed on have no indication of any "dodgy" issues. In fact we do twice weekly reviews of the playlists that our customers are on to ensure that no nefarious activities are happening.

We wish you the best in your music journey.

First Campaign didn’t work. Asked for money after agreement for Correction of Campaign, and a additional 30 days free along with a Apology.

First Campaign didn’t work. 10 Syreams is all I had within a month. I was apologized
To, and told this person would personally see what happened, put me on different Playlists, and give me another 30 Days on them. A week later I was asked to pay $59 to get my campaign going after certain promises were
made. Was asked to pay for unsuccessful campaign, and asked to pay for an additional Month. Total $94 after agreement was made. Still being asked to pay for another month when I paid the $94 2 weeks ago.

Seems all right at first, but eventually the mask slips

I was unfortunate enough to discover these people before I knew how Spotify promotions work. They will get you added to random playlists filled with small-time artists who sound nothing like you. You will get a bump in streaming numbers at the expense of wrecking your algorithm, making it impossible for anyone who would actually like your music to find it, ever. I was willing to chalk it up to ignorance until they lied to me about my campaigns, claiming they had top-secret data that proved they'd done the work they obviously hadn't, with their god-awful customer service representative treating me like a pest for wanting to know what they actually did with my rather large sum of money. Stay far away from these people. If you sign over rights to your music to them, god help you.

FOLLOW-UP: Two months later, I see ten new fraudulent charges from Boost Collective on my bank statement that I will have to contact my bank about, since they don't respond to customers when they don't feel like it. Absolutely despicable human beings.

Extremely Disappointing Results

I purchased the bronze campaign for a month‑long promotion that promised placement on three playlists. In two weeks, I received only three streams, a number far below what I generate on my own through my fanbase. For a service that claims to offer meaningful exposure, this result was extremely disappointing.

Trying to reach customer support made the situation even worse. The contact information on their website was buried and, once I finally found it, the email address listed was incorrect. I had to dig through old emails from a previous billing issue just to locate the real support address.

When I finally reached an agent, they responded after a few days but ignored their own refund policy. Instead of honoring it, they unilaterally decided to place my song on a different playlist—something I never asked for. I had to reach out again and explicitly restate that I wanted a full refund according to their stated policy.

What makes this even more frustrating is that my very first experience with this company was great. After that, their website fails to load analytics and the quality of service has steadily declined. Between the poor results, the hidden and inaccurate support information, and the reluctance to follow their own refund policy, I can’t recommend this service anymore.

Oh no, beware. Cancellation frustration.

After seeing all the ads in social media, I was intrigued. But after spending over 200 bucks with no impressive results, I called it a loss. But then I notice $19.99 coming out my bank account from Boost Collective monthly, I tried the instruction on canceling the fraudulent "Pro" subscription instruction. It leads to a dead end. I have reached out on the "support" email provided, but no results as of yet. Not pleased.

Spent 3000$ for a measily experience

Spent 3000$ for a measily experience, It was a year long campaign an while the first month was very promising it went downhill from there. Every email reaction was very reassuring with more empty promises leading to an overall experience that lead to absolutely no growth and overall 30.000 streams.
If i compare that to an average Facebook Ad-Manager Campaign you get alot more with less empty promises, would never ever recommend this company again even after trusting them for their "sweet talk", did several attempts on smaller occasions before the big campaign and it's kind of the same. Delivering streams with no growth.

Edit in Response:
I got contacted originall in July 24 and finally agreed after some calls by Michael
I had another call in Jan 25 where i first stated things went well in the first month and nothing after, the campaign was scheduled for 12 months.
I was in touch with Adam throughout februar
because my songs got placed on Rock Playlists with around 7 monthly listeners.
Also already complaining to him the "Never Ending advertisting for 60% off since forever"
I decided to trust and was let down.
I got in touch via Mail with the support in June multiple times also writing michael, who didn't reply anymore (maybe he is not part of the crew anymore)
Again reached out in July and August, with a final one in october 25
with the as usual answer:
"That said, I’m confident we can turn this around. 💪 We’re going to take a fresh, focused approach, review your placements, optimize the targeting, and rework the campaign strategy to make sure your music is reaching the right listeners and gaining steady traction."

It was always a very positive, reassuring answer i got that lead to nothing but dissapointment. 3$ per stream is something i wouldn't recommend anyone, especially after those flashy presentations that led to other expectations.

Hi DJ SovRin,

Every campaign we run is organic and Meta ad led and thus campaigns can fluctuate and depend on a lot of factors. Our goal with every campaign is to maximize the amount of real and organic streams for an artist.

We were able to secure you real, organic streams which did fall below your original Takeover estimate and we tried our best to make it work with our curators. The last communication that I can with our direct customer support team was in July of 2025. If there was an issue that you wanted rectified we would've done whatever we could to help you.
