Boost Mobile, horrible to deal with.
Signed up online, card was charged immediately. Ten days later, my phone number still hadn't been transferred from the old carrier. Called to see if they could fix it, was told the 'system is down' and instructed to call back in five hours. Decided the next day to cancel, but you can't do that online. I called and was told they weren't able to process any cancellations at this time, and they don't know when they'll be able to. I have no doubt that they'll try to bill me for another month, though. THAT system is working.
STAY AWAY
I have been calling and trying to chat for 2 days now. Nothing happens, message says they are having internal problems. Since Boost took over Virgin Mobile there has been nothing but problems
in competent Boost
Nothing seems to happen when you speak to a Boost rep i have had a problem for the last month spoke to boost about 6 times been on the chat service but still have problems with my gas meter no one seems to give a damn but wait till i owe them money because my gas meter isn't registering the amount of gas i am using they will soon be on the phone.
Useless
Every several months something happens and phone doesn't work. I had 3 months of data not working ( and whenever I called customer service tried to convince me to buy more data ! now phone goes straight to vm, service stops working frequently, customer service is never helpful and always tries to blame the settings on the phone to justify the malfunctioning. Don't even bother! They should get sued for charging and not providing service.
Boost cut my services because they…SO BAD.......
Boost cut my services because they merged with something else. After 6 hours trying to get this resolved I have no service. The customer service is the worst on the whole universe and they don't fix anything. Keep transfering here and there and after 2 3 hours on hold they Hang up on you. Please go out of business. This company does not deserve to have 1 single customer and they don't have a decency to even call you back. THE WORST EVER!!!!
awful they read from a script

Got the $100 yearly plan, so far so good, full bars of service and 1gb data is good for occasional use when wifi is everywhere save $$.

If I could give Boost Mobile 0 stars I…
If I could give Boost Mobile 0 stars I would. In May I bought a new phone from Boost & switched my service to them. BIG mistake! For the first two days I needed both my old phone & my new phone, because one phone only took incoming calls and the other outgoing calls. While that issue was resolved,
every month was something else. Trying to pay online was impossible--they said they had no record of my phone number or pin. They kept sending information to a wrong email address. Paying at a Boost location was difficult as often stores were not open when they were supposed to have been. Finally, I had enough. I switched carriers, but they wouldn't unlock my phone (which I paid for) because I had been with them "less than a year." They claim they have "no contracts" and "you can switch anytime." But if they don't unlock your phone isn't that keeping you from joining another cell phone provider? So, I am using my old phone for the next six months. Good Riddance Boost Mobile.
Boost- Horrible company!
HORRIBLE * phone" company!! Worse than AT&T. Trying to reach a person, almost impossible. Then, when you wait -THINKING YOU ARE HOLDING FOR A PERSON (knowing you'll not be able to understand their accent anyway)
they hang up before anyone answers. BOOST MUST BE RAN BY TOTAL IODIOTS. This is asking for a date, but it's ALWAYS BEEN HORRIBLE SINCE THEY BOUGHT IT FROM VIRGIN.
i will never do service with this phone…
i will never do service with this phone service again. Not only was i mislead i switched for the 30.00 plan bought a new phone and the following month my phone was shut off and said i owed 60 to have put back on, called customer service several times each time they couldnt verify my number , also asked why am i being charged 60 when i joined for 30, couldnt help me or adjust my account, after going to the store on 2 separate occasions at the store on Homestead in lehigh, she was of absolute no help, im American speak English. She dedicated her time to spanish , only left me to the side with no regard. So not only was i misconceived, customer service is no help nor is the store employees. I will be switching my service .......... Thanks for a waste of money.....
Data access in nil
The service for calling is decent, but the mobile data is absolutely terrible, as in it's often impossible to use your phone to connect to google or fb unless you are home using your internet connection. In addition, when you decide to leave, they make it extremely difficult to find your account number. You log into your account with your number and a pin, but they do not allow you to discover your account number except by calling customer service and jumping through hoops, which include them asking you why you are leaving and then trying to talk you into staying.
Nonexistent customer service
The service itself is okay, connection can be bad but it's pretty cheap so I guess I can't complain about that too much. The real issue came when I wanted to downscale my plan. In my account options it only showed plans that were more expensive than my current one even though I knew there was a cheaper one. So I tried to call their customer service. When you call Boost Mobile, all you get is an automated menu. I tried several different options but I never talked to a real human, despite their website claiming that you can call their agents. They also claim to have a chat service, but it doesn't work. But to be honest, I doubt that would get me in touch with a human being considering how horrible their service has been so far. So, long story short, you get mediocre reception and when you need help, you can't. Definitely avoid this company.
Boost Mobile at 117 Franklin NJ
Boost Mobile at 117 Franklin NJ, has a lack of communication with its own staff and management. Also does not have the patience to communicate with customers who only have basic English to converse.
Not existing in the real world
After a horribly frustrating 10 days of fruitless attempts to get the $25 a month plan I finally just gave up. I called and bought the plan on 7/30/22. Boost sent an email letting me know my SIM card was on the way. It never arrived. Customer service is poorly trained, has language issues and critical thinking problems. Boost neglected to tell me that they won’t send SIM cards to P.O. Boxes and that they won’t import my old number if the old service has lapsed (my service lapsed 8/2/22 since I was changing). So no SIM, no keeping my old number and then worst of all the local Boost stores wanted to charge me $50 activation fee. One just refused to help me and made me leave his store!! Said he felt I would not be satisfied with his help. I’m like ‘what’?!!. I thought this was going to be simple instead it was a complete black hole of horrible customer service, Boost stores with strange and fearful employees, some of my local Boost stores unstaffed and closed and other stores charging fees outside Boost advertised costs for service.
Amazingly bad. Couldn’t believe it. After 10 days of my pursuit of their deal I went back to MINT mobile. Mint is the same price, but half the GB (15 v 30 ) and I have to pay the full year upfront ( $300) as opposed to a monthly out of pocket of $25.00 and an extra 15 GB, which I don’t really need since I don’t stream or use lots of data on my iPhone 8.
Third world carrier and totally ghetto stores.
TOTAL THIEVES
I paid them for a year of service. They took my money but were unable to get me the service. I"m OUT OVER $100.00 AND I NEVER GOT ANY SERVICE FROM THEM! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THEM!

Boost shut down my service before the due date and they keep runing me around and the people are foreign speaking people and they make you feel stupid .
I have been a boost mobile customer for 8 years…
I have been a boost mobile customer for years and was pleased with the service in the past.
In the past year on 2 of my phones, 35 gigabytes of data which I pay $60.00 a month for disappears in less than a week, causing me to have to keep paying for more data at $5.00 per gigabyte, which disappears in a few hours.
This was not happening until last year on one phone and until two months ago on the other phone.
I have reported it and believe it is a scam to get me to continue to pay over and over again for gigabytes, or, the company allows multiple people to use my data.

Do NOT go threw them they make you jump hoops just to get your account number. i called to get it they needed to call my actual phone it was dead it charges slow.so i charged it as fast as i could so i could answer. answered them and phone died on them.switched back to the phone i called them on and told me i couldn't get my account number even though i answered on the device cause i had to be on the device for them to give it to me...can't wait to switch back to straight talk and have sevice that works, a working phone and smart no hoops customer service!!!!!!!
Being disabled a phone is important and…
Being disabled a phone is important and I have received one for over 5 years. But 6 months after switching to BOOST they cut my phone off saying I didn't qualify, I do, and wanted me to go into store when everything can be done online. Never again Boost!
