Good products, disappointing support

We like our Bora hob, but after sales is incredibly disappointing and very costly as stated by others. We will not buy them again due to this.

After sales service disappointing and costly

After having an accident which damaged the glass top of our BORA, I was very disappointed by the after sales service. Our kitchen supplier had to put us in touch with BORA in the first instance, which seems unnecessary and delayed things significantly. BORA eventually put us in touch with their one and only approved UK agent. The repair cost was eye watering and payment required up front. Keep this in mind when you choose BORA!

Otherwise we have been happy with our cooktop which thanks to the down draft extraction could be installed under a window where we wanted it and without any complex ceiling structures. I wasn’t sold on the recirculating idea so we have the vented extractor which takes moisture out of the house.

Do not touch this bora system with a barge pole.

I recently put a review on trustpilot about bora and trustpilot have taken my review down. I don’t understand why !! the Bora recirculating system that I bought from my fathers heart in Sheffield is simply not right , when you boil a pan of water the floor around the hob is soaking , slippery and therefore dangerous. When I reported the fault to the distributor and to the Bora area manager they came around to my house to witness the problem.
Their answer to the problem according to them both was to open a window or better still get a further extraction system in the kitchen.
Having spent around £7,000 on the system I don’t find this a very satisfactory answer.
A couple of weeks ago I slipped on the wet and greasy floor and banged my head fortunately no serious harm done this time.
Bora have finally rang me from Germany and they are contacting the distributor about the problem although I can not see what they can do to resolve the problem as it is not suitable for purpose.
Please do not touch one of the recirculating bora systems with a barge pole if I could give no stars I would. The only answer I can think of is to install an overhead extraction system to the outside but of course this will be hugely costly and messy and not in the style of my newly done kitchen.

Good product i am sure however when…

Good product i am sure however when issues you are left waiting!
Our brand new cooker arrived a little late. When put in the countertop it was clear is was bending.

We are ready with the new kitchen however now we have to wait for them to come and meassure. They have a tolerance they forget to tell you about.

They dont Care about fixing just running away.

Great products however stay away and go safe instead of risking being put on hold with a bad product.

New extractor replaced

New extractor, tepan grill and hob was excellent when it worked. I used it 3 time before I had error. Your response to sevice was slow. You ended up replacing it which is what you should have done straight off, it was brand new!.
It's pretty much close to a month with it NOT being able to be used. Less than happy. I now have to wait for it to be sealed back in place. The shine has gone off your product. Without reliable and prompt BORA service is difficult to recommend purchase.

Finally no more extractor hood

Finally no more extractor hood, but our own Bora Pure. No smell in the livingroom, but everything is really succes in, and out through the wall. Only regret? That we didn’t do this years ago!

Efficient and silent

The cooker hood works extremely efficiently and quietly. The hobs are also efficient and well-functioning. However, please note that pots must have a bottom that is at least 12 cm in diameter to work. This rules out the use of small pots.

Bora XBO - new family member

We've been using our Bora X-BO for 4 months now. All I can say is that "she" became our family member 😀. We don't eat out anymore, because all the meals can be prepared at home easily and in no time. And Bora even cleans herself!!!🤗 So no hardwork, just enjoying great food.

Bora X pure - not as it seems

We bought Bora X pure. Installation (flush) done by supposedly certified company was totally unprofessional and is diminishing the whole experience and look of the kitchen. Also pots smaller than 10 cm do not work - they work perfectly on other induction cooktops.
I would advise anyone considering buying this to really think about the needs any verify the company and professionalism of installation.
