Boring Money helps normal people make smarter investment decisions - quickly and painlessly. We're an independent business founded in 2015 to cut through financial jargon and make investing accessible to everyone. No PhD required! Millions of Brits have used us as a trusted source for savings, investments, and pensions guidance. With over 24 years in the investment industry, our founder, Holly Mackay, got tired of watching people struggle through pages of gobbledygook. Here's the secret: once you get past the jargon, sensible investing is actually quite easy. What we do: ✔Compare ISAs, pensions, and investment platforms with independent ratings and reviews ✔Run annual Best Buy Awards based on 26,000+ customer ratings and rigorous testing. ✔Provide clear guides and articles explaining finance in normal language. ✔Offer tools like calculators and quizzes to help you make decisions. ✔Share honest customer reviews so you can learn from real experiences. ✔Help you take action - whether that's opening an ISA, choosing funds, or finding an adviser. We offer generic guidance, not personalised financial advice (we're not regulated advisers). If you've ever felt alienated, patronised, or exhausted by finance, you're in the right place!

Up to date, every day, practical financial tips and education served up with a great sense of humour, some puns, honestly & transparency. ❤
Boring Money is down to earth and practical.
I recommended it to my Cambridge Investors group and had to stop them being chauvinists ! Holly is honest – no hype or ramping - and always interesting.
If this review gets to her , here’s an idea . your may gain some marketing advantage by linking with a chunk of the Investment groups in the country - some just exchanging ideas & tips and some actually collectively investing. I’ve been in both. (The Proshares set up is obtuse and now seems to be off-line.)
Holly - I am an ideas person , so if you want to talk over the above do make .contact

Hollys blogs are a breath of fresh air in the crusty old financial world. She gives a great insight into the money market and makes me laugh to boot. Brilliant.
The site has loads of information and reviews of financial products and to me seems to me and agreed site for novices and the more experienced investor.
It's an interesting and informative read (and quite amusing).
Clear and useful financial advice that’s easy to understand
Great no nonsense financial chat. Honest, straightforward commentary on markets and products
Helpful easy to understand financial advice. It's the one newsletter I absolutely have to read each week.
Fantastic insights and a pleasure to read. One of the few financial blogs/websites that can balance humour and financial news well.
Like Boring Money - sensible honest advice for non-financial people to help you navigate through the money minefield!
Very interesting content that’s both informative and easy to digest.
I subscribe to Holly's weekly blog which gives an excellent summary of major topics in the investment world. She has a knack for explaining complex topics in a very easy to understand lingo with a dash of wit and humour. Thank you.
I often go to the website to check the latest saving rates, read and benchmark profiles of investment platforms, check fund performance, and improve my financial knowledge. Highly recommended!
Keep up the good work Holly and team.
Very down-to-earth advice, as you would expect from Holly, and some great ideas, hope people who are still working wake up and take notice.
Seems like a great resource - certainly helps clarify much of the opaqueness around finances.
A really useful and well thought out site with just the right level of humour to make money interesting. It also delivers the required amount of detail when trying to keep up to date with money matters
Absolutely LOVE this blog. I have got sucked into reading various financial blogs over the years, grappling with the complexities of finance, interest rates, inflation, stock markets. Then Holly arrived in my inbox. I actually look forward to reading her blog, love her inspired, writing style, have learnt such a lot, and followed her suggestions on many occasions. It is so reassuring to read an impartial ‘take’ on the murky world of finance and know there’s no hidden agenda and that she’s on our team. Thank you Holly. Keep it up. We all need you.
Love reading Boring Money easy to digest content and doesn’t bore you with too many details! Sign up to their newsletter if you haven’t already and be sure to look at their super helpful advice online, I cannot recommend this site enough
Very informative, easy to understand- and funny. Thank you, Holly
