Great site and even better blog. It's refreshing to read informative, open, honest, funny, non-jargonistic (irony?) views on an often over complicated, scary landscape. I've been reading Holly's blogs for years and have been hard-pressed to find anyone else out there that does so in a concise, informative and engaging way (maybe also Finimize)

Fresh and fun
I've been a fan of Boring Money for a number of years now and have taken part in various research projects for them. What I like is that they talk "normally" about complicated issues; pensions, stocks etc and Holly's weekly newsletter never fails to make me chuckle with her tongue-in-cheek humour. Their website is literally bursting and the seams with so much valuable content to help you save, protect your savings and spending your savings once retiring.

A great financial blog…
This is a great financial blog delivered in simple terms that we can all understand. I loved the short description of the difference between shares and bonds this week:
Companies have two main ways of raising money to fund their growth. They can give away a share of the company to people in return for some cash. Equity. Or they can borrow money from people in return for agreeing to pay interest. Bonds. Some investors prefer bonds because – if the company goes belly-up – investors with bonds are at the front of queue to get any money back. And share holders are at the back of the queue.
