No refund given on final sale item, but it is not stated anywhere in their Returns' Policy

At no stage during the ordering process did this company explicitly state that a final sale item was ineligible for return- I would not have purchased from them at all, if I had known they were not going to honour a return and give me my rightful refund. The quality of the item was inferior also, and nothing like the picture showed. So disappointing- I will not purchase from this company again, and I want to inform other shoppers that their consumer rights will be compromised. Avoid.

Customer service is shocking

Clothing quality can be hit and miss. Bought two styles of hoodies, one shrunk after one wash other didn't. Customer service ignored all emails. Had a prior dealing with CS and it was shocking. Depending on the clothing type some can be good, customer service really let's the retail down.

Atrocious customer service and values

I bought the Adriana dress in blue on the 29th of September 2024 for a wedding in November, received the dress on the 2nd of October , took dress out of package, immediately didn’t like quality of material and zip and the shoulder details didn’t look like the pictures on website, didn’t even try the dress on. Packed it back up in original package, unworn , tags attached , paperwork everything required. An post collected package on the 8th of October, all within the timeframe for a return, October 23rd email from born clothing stating I wasn’t getting a refund as there was make up stain on dress, and they were returning the dress to me . I requested a picture of stain and also a copy of their terms and conditions. All emails completely ignored , 25th October dress is delivered back to me minus a receipt for my purchase and also minus any make up stains or any other mark on the dress. I will never buy from this company again and would like to warn others of how they operate . I have dresses that I purchased on SHEIN that are better quality than this dress I purchased for €60 from Born clothing. I wouldn’t have even left one star rating as it’s a zero from me.

Poor quality Produkt.

Bought a quarter zip mens causal PRODUKT sweatshirt in Portlaoise. I was drawn to go back and buy all other colours. Just as well I decided to wait to wash it before buying more. On examining before a wash I realised it was terribly poor quality. Decided to return to store. Sales staff absolutely superb. Had to argue with supervisor a bit pointing out the evident terrible quality. Eventually Sup was very helpful and I got an alternative product. Staff & Sup were excellent but sadly quality of Produkt brand cannot be trusted.

Bought a Noisy May zip fleece for 50€ 2 weeks ago , getting really scruffy looking and I haven’t even washed it yet, brought it back and showed the manager where the actual fleece was coming off , I was told they had no complaints and it wasn’t a fault , no just cheap material at an expensive price , won’t be shopping there again

Bought a dress recently for an upcoming wedding which was last week. Washed the dress after I wore it and all the treads in the front of the dress ripped. Went to the shop with the dress where the girls couldn't have been nicer. They put in my claim to customer service to which I received an email stating nothing will be done about the dress as it's from "wear and tear"! I dunno how you would pay €60 for a dress wear it once, not wash well that it can no longer be worn to be told it's from wear amd tear! I will never buy from born again! You'd get better quality from penny's

Dont shop is the Roscommon branch

Dont shop is the Roscommon branch! Customer service is brutal. My wife bought a t-shirt there last week and as it happens it was a size too small. Went it to the store to change it from a medium to a large and I was told that they now had a no exchange or refund policy.... I asked for the manager and the young lady said she was the manager. I asked how I could speak to someone higher then she pointed to another woman that was walking around the store with her mobile to her ear and looked like she couldn't be bothered with customers. Disgraceful customer service at this store. No wonder I was the only customer there.

Brutal service

Ordered a waistcoat on the 18th of May. No sign of the waistcoat arriving so on the 28th of May I send an email. On the 29th of May I get an email to say out of stock and my money will be refunded. 11 days later. If it was out of stock when I ordered it how was I able to put it in my basket and check out . Crazy stuff

Outstanding effort

Did not have my size left in store of a dress I fell in love with.. staff rang a sister store and found it for me, processed payment over phone for me and delivered it out to me within days. So happy with the level of service and help provided.

I will not purchase online again.

I wound not recommend shopping with Born online. I returned an item 5 weeks ago and have not been given my refund. It has been delivered by An Post from the tracking number. The customer service in Born has not been one bit helpful. I will never make the mistake of ordering from Born online again.

Terrible customer service

Bought a jumper for €39 on 23 January and went to exchange it on 11th February (19 days) and was told they would not exchange anything over 14 days.
I was going to buy two dresses spending over €100 and had them at the counter but when they refused an exchange I left them there.
Not only did they loose a sale. They lost a good customer.
Never again will I buy from Born Naas

Will never shop there again

Tried to replace a shirt I bought for Christmas (wanted a bigger size) and was told the that it couldn't be replaced for a bigger size or swapped for anything else. I was just over the return period (which I think was 14 days?). No exceptions were permitted, very poor customer service.

Won't ever shop there again on principle.

so disappointed with borns exchange…

so disappointed with borns exchange policy, I spent €200 on gifts for Christmas, unfortunately some of the items did not fit, when I returned to the store to exchange for a larger size I was told no because they were sale items,while I understood there was no refund on sale items I did not realise there was no exchange either! very poor customer relations, I certainly wont shop there again and would not recommend to friends either!

Customer service is shocking!!

Last Saturday I purchased a gilet from the sale rack in Born, Claremorris. Turns out my sister bought the same gilet in the same colour as a gift for my birthday. I returned to Born, Claremorris the following day. They refused to let me exchange the gilet. There was no manager on duty and they said there was nothing they could do. The gilet had not even been taken out of the bag! I had the receipt and was quite willing to take the same again in another colour or another item. I explained that I had no use for 2 of the same items in the same colour.
On Monday I spoke with the manager and she too quoted company policy and refused to exchange.
I contacted head office and pleaded my case. They would not hear of an exchange.
This is customer service at its worst!!! I am a regular customer of Born. Surely people at Born can use discretion in such circumstances.

Horrific customer service

Firstly, I have been a loyal Born customer for years, so I am extremely annoyed and frustrated about how poor their ‘customer service’ has been the last two months.
For the first time in years of being a loyal customer, on the 20th of July I returned some items of clothing to Born- €150 worth of clothes. I was informed by my tracking number on the 24th of July that they received the parcel. Todays date is the 26th of September, and I have still not received my money. I have requested a call back from a supervisor several times which has been ignored, there is no number to ring and they slowly reply to my emails. Horrific customer service, and I will boycott this store in future. I hope to receive my money but after 2 months of trying to get it back, I’m not sure if I will.
