Keren is wonderful with my 7 year old Cross Deedee they have a great time she takes my precious, mummy's dog for lots of various walks and DeeDee loves and looks forward to their time out and she waits patiently for the doorbell and knows that she is going to have some fun. I hit the jackpot when I was linked with Keren and her Hubby

The communication between the site and the owners is always brilliant unfortunately I cannot have a dog myself due to work commitments but it is nice to know that I’m helping people out when I can

After losing my beloved dog I was at a lost end. I didn't want to get another, but saw "borrow my doggie" what a fantastic idea, I now walk a lovely dog 3 days a week, i feel better in myself, I get free exercise and the love of a wonderful friend (Ernie) Would recommend highly to anyone..

I’ve met several lovely borrowers on borrow my doggy. I’ve been on it a few years now. I’ve found that sometimes there’s hardly anyone available, then 3 come along at once! So it’s worth bearing with it a few months to see if a suitable borrower comes along. It’s conceptually such a nice idea. Most of the people I’ve met, love dogs, but their circumstances mean that it’s currently not practical to have a dog full time, so this can fill their need for some dog love :-)

I have met a couple of very lovely people who have been genuine dog lovers and can help locally if you need a bit of help with your pooches. As there is no money involved you know the companionship / help is for genuine reasons of animal love.

I had a very disappointing experience with BorrowMyDoggy. The overall service felt unprofessional from start to finish. Response times were extremely slow, which made even simple queries frustrating to deal with. On top of that, when I did receive replies, the staff came across as rude and unhelpful rather than supportive. I expected a much higher level of service, especially from a platform built on trust. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience.

The site is a great idea . For people like us for whom it's not practical to have a dog of our own it's a chance to get to know a dog and enjoy it's company . For people who need someone to walk their dog the benefit is obvious .

A great app for dog lovers to connect and help each other out. I was a dog walker for over two years through BorrowMyDoggy. I needed new furry friends in my life after two dogs I regularly dog sat moved away.
The app is easy to use to find dogs in your area; I regularly looked after a beautiful pomsky until we both moved out of the area.
There is a small sign-up fee for walkers but after that, it's free. And 100% worth it for those who need dogs in their life but cannot have their own for whatever reason.

I was looking on the AppStore and typing dog walking apps etc and I found borrowmydoggy . I was skeptical at first to pay premium but did a profile anyway and the same day I got many messages! So in the end I paid premium and more than 20 people have messaged 🐾 And now I’ve got loads of dogs to walk and have fun with. Would definitely recommend. Make a very unique profile, add your best photos. Show professionalism and everyone will want you to walk their dog 🐶 This app is great for dog-walkers/ dog sitters and owners! There aren’t many borrowers in my opinion, mostly owners and I still haven’t found anyone to look after my dog, but I’d say it’s great if you need a dog sitter or for your pup to socialise with other dogs . Please look into the app a bit, I’m sure you’ll love it. It would be great to have more dogs to walk in my area 🌿

I'm very happy, and I am glad I joined borrow my doggy site. I have a bit of rest time for myself now. With my physical health, I was struggling taking Leo out 4 times a day 7 days a week, now I have someone taking Leo out an hour on Wednesday and 1-2 hours on Sundays. That is absolutely a relief for me. I think for the borrower is a happy time as well as he enjoys Leo's company, and Leo is very happy and confident with him.
I am thankful for the organisation for making this possible for us as a dog owners and borrowers.
I hope that I get more borrowers to help me walking Leo out in the future.

Excellently ran organisation with a simple yet wonderful and even life-changing premise to connect people by looking after peoples' dogs. I have met good friends through this and a couple of exceptionally good relationships with dogs which have bought us both happiness and exercise! This has also helped me gain experience of caring for a dog which has been a good reminder of how much work they are, so it's prevented me rushing in to buy a dog.

I started my ‘borrower’ journey last week with 12 year old Leo the Huskey. His lovely owner can no longer give him the long walks he needs for a big dog & even though he’s 12, he has a lot of energy. I had an instant bond with Leo and will now walk him twice weekly. All involved very happy. What a great app & service 🙏

Honestly I just feel sad. I misunderstood what the site was for after my work coach at the jobcentre told me this would be a good site to advertise dog walking and sitting services (paid) but it is a volenteer only website. I paid the fee for checks only last night.
Naturally they closed my account as its a business account and that's OK but I obviously missed the smallprint that said they will keep my money. Sad and unfair I just did what I was asked by my work coach and they didn't accept my account but kept my money. I don't have alot of money was meant to be an investment into my business. Depressing site.

I am furious with this organisation. Citizens Advice Bureau recommend this service to my mum, my dad has Alzheimer’s and she needs support with her dog. The man who said he would be able to support sent some concerning messages to my mum, calling her ‘babe’ in his messages, asking if she wanted to meet in ‘a lay by’, something felt very wrong about the communication …. Be careful people!

I love BorrowMyDoggy. I've been a 'Borrower' since 2018. In the early days, the company wasn't very well known in my area, however, there are now lots & lots of doggies. I love the fact I can borrow a doggie & bring them for walks, pup cups & other adventures. I love that owners can find local borrowers to spend time with their doggie(s). I love the fact that doggies get to socialise & have adventures.
I currently borrow lovely Teddy, a Cockapoo & Milo, a Toy Cavapoo who is 18 months old & a little nervous. I am trying to help build Milo's confidence. Last year I borrowed Charlee, a 15 year old Maltese a couple of times a week for nine months until he left for the Rainbow Bridge. After losing my sister's doggie, Charlee made me smile again & healed my broken heart. He was very special to me. Some members may not respond which is unfortunate. This happens with lots of websites, not just BMD. BorrowMyDoggy works hard to maintain a wonderful community. They also offer lots of support via their friendly to use app & website plus insurance for borrowers. BMD is perfect for doggie owners & anyone who has some time on their hands who loves doggies. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I would also recommend signing up directly with BMD rather than the Apple store.
