Lovely earrings and great experience

I bought some earrings for my sister. We had a good time browsing through the site looking at different designers and pieces, and settled on a pair from Linda Friedrich Jewelry. It was really easy looking around the site and good to see the stories behind the products.

Payment and delivery was easy, and the earrings arrived on time and look great. I also had a nice message from Linda directly.

Boticca - avoid this Company

I bought a beautiful handbag through them unfortunately the item was too small for my needs.
I have been trying to communicate with Boticca since the 14/02/15 to return the item I have received two computer generated acknowledgments stating they will get back in 48hrs still no joy.
The Designer has however made contact and is trying to be helpful.
The item was delivered by DHL Global and it should be a fairly simple procedure to get them to collect the item for return.
The problem is my Customer Profile is not recognising that I have purchased anything from them so I am unable to access the returns option I have Paypal acknowledgement - Invoice No transaction ID etc. and I will be taking the matter through Paypal resolution to recover my funds.
I do all my shopping online due to ill health, this has been my worst experience ever.
The Company seems to be quite new but does not have an after sales infrastructure.
I would avoid purchasing from them at all costs.

Worst return experiences ever experienced on web!

The first problem order from Boticca was a gift from my husband, and as beautiful as it was in the photo, the quality wasn't there for the price. This was before the "new" Boticca and they didn't have the DHL set up. After many emails back and forth with the seller, Boticca finally got involved to solve a misunderstanding of the seller of how the return was processed. The conversation with Boticca began on Sept. 17, and the refund didn't occur until Oct. 14.
The second problem order was after a ring was ordered and paid for, the seller contacted me and said they were sold out. Again, many, many emails between the seller and I trying to come to an arrangement. This time the refund was more timely but the order was placed Nov. 22, the refund wasn't given until Dec. 9, due to an "issue with contact address".
This last problem order is beyond ridiculous. The return was picked up by DHL on Jan. 6. I finally contacted the seller on Jan. 17, to ask if there had been a problem with the return, she said no and had approved it with Boticca. I have sent an email to Boticca on, Jan. 23, 27, and 30 and left a message at the office number, because I am so fed up!
I was so excited about this website when I found it. Beautiful, unique things from artisans in all countries. I kept trying, obviously! to give them opportunities to correct growth issues that happen when a company is new.
But as it stands now, I still wait for my return to be given as we go into the month of February.

Exquisite jewellery, outstanding service from Boticca

After searching for a unique piece of jewellery to replace an old one, I heard about Boticca from a friend. It wasn't long into my search that I came across a piece that I instantly fell in love with. Not only did it look unique and unusual (just my thing!) but the story behind it made me love it even more. I registered an account and promptly ordered. I have to say the whole sign-up process and ordering was a delight and I felt like I was receiving a one-to-one service.

I received regular emails from the designer to let me know everything from when she was about to make my piece and about to ship it. This was by far one of the nicest experiences I've had when purchasing any item - it's not often you get to be close to the designer of anything you buy, so it felt very personal.

It took less than 24 hours from shipping notification from DHL to receive the item all the way from Poland to UK - now that's a speedy service. I am absolutely thrilled with the piece I bought and would have no hesitation in recommending Boticca to anyone. And I will certainly be a returning customer.

Variety, Unique & super simple & fast

i have not come across many sites that give you this unique offering of Boticca.com which is this great combo of independent designers from across the world (and really mean it!!), huge variety, have such a beautifully designed mobile/website interface that makes it super simple & fast to place your order and connect with the designers themselves to make "special requests" which always come in handy especially if you are buying it as a gift!!! for me living in Switzerland, what i love is the recently added new feature of covering me from customs fees which is a huge issue for orders into switzerland! thats my 2 cents- highly recommended and happy to share my experiences with anybody!

Problem with customes fees - urgent

Last Thursday, DHL sent me a SMS to inform me that I would have to pay customs fees for an order made with Boticca. DHL must deliver another time this order and I don't know what I am going to do (accept or not) !
I don't understand why I have to pay these customs fees.
The main problem is that I wrote to Boticca twice since Thursday and no reply from them. What can I do now ? I pay and what happened after ?

Not sure I want to recommend Boticca to others

After I placed an order, I had not received an order confirmation. I waited for quite some time, even checked my spamfolder. The money was withdrawn from my account, so I decided to sent a message to Boticca customer support. No answer.

After a few more days, I decided to send a message again, and of course, no answer. I decided to contact the designer directly where I explained the situation. The designer answered immediately and my order was shipped and I received it the next day.

A full week after I have received my order, I finally got an answer from Boticca customer service saying that they contacted the designer and that I have already received my order. Well, yes, but no thanks to Boticca customer service.

I didn`t even get an apology that it took them in in total 1,5 - 2 weeks to answer me!

In conclusion: I am super happy about the service the designer provided. But I would would think twice before ordering via Boticca again. Sadly, their poor customer service really ruined the experience for me.

I am not going to use Boticca again

Shipping was a full 12 days after the order date. I needed it here in time to give to someone, but there was no response to my repeated queries about when my order would be dispatched. Clearly some of the support email addresses are still not working properly, but I got no response even after copying in the other support address. I finally got a response after I had received the parcel with the suggestion that I check my spam folder rather than an apology or admission that their service is awful.

Ordered 2 pieces and received 1 piece

I'm starting to get really annoyed at how Boticca does not quality control the sellers. And they should provide some sort of # chat service for immediate assistance because this email thing whenever something is wrong is not working and it takes too long for you to respond. I ordered 2 wallets from the designer Hideout and I received 1. Would appreciate someone getting back to me asap to let me know if I will be shipped another one or not and if not when they will credit me for the additional wallet.

Disappointing and Concerning

I have had to wait a long time for delivery of an order, in fact it hasn't appeared after 3 weeks. I am happy to wait if I knew that everything was OK. But I have had no contact and no reply despite sending 4 emails. Clearly the customer support team need more hands on deck.

Problem with custom fees, no response from Boticca

I have an urgent problem with the delivery of the backpack which I've ordered the 2th november. I have already written on this matter 3 times to Boticca and I have no response. It ' is about a problem of customs: DHL asks me to pay customs fees!
Besides, I have no piece of news concerning the delivery of the golden earrings which I've ordered the same day.
It's a real pity because there are lots of beautiful things to be bought on Boticca and I would not only like to receive my products but also to order it others!
It would be necessary to be able to have an answer of Boticca!

Disappointed!!

Up until my last order, I have always had immediate response to my request. I had sent several E Mails and no response. I think this was at least a two week period. Finally, two days ago Mica responded!

Our Customer Service Representatives were reporting that every query was being answered within 2 working days (with most of them within a single working day) but it still seemed that some of our customers weren't getting any answers.

After some digging and testing, we found there was a problem with one of our email addresses and the contact form on the website. Emails were being delivered to our Helpdesk system inconsistently: some went through, others didn't!

We have now found the bug on our code and released a permanent fix. For this whole situation, we have nothing else to say but apologise. We are committed to excellence in the post-purchase experience and this situation is very far from the standards we commit ourselves to. Beautiful pieces you wouldn't find on the high street.

I ordered a necklace as a very last minute birthday present. The site is very clear and user friend.

I used the express delivery that was reasonably priced and arrived extremely quickly. Communication from the designer was good.

The necklace itself was beautiful quality and really different to others I've seen else where. The packaging was nice and quirky which added to the unique feel.

I would recommend highly and will most definitely use the site again

Great website, fantastic customer service

Boticca is the number one online destination for anything related to indie jewelry and accessories. I was able to buy several unique pieces as gifts for loved ones and they have been beyond pleased every time. When I contacted their customer service team with regards to a specific product and its availability, they didn't just respond to my query, they provided me with a clear no-cost solution and worked with the designer to get me the item before the Christmas holidays.
