I have no idea what this "custom item" is. I asked the delivery person and he couldn't answer what it was. I asked Ladd and he didn't know either but would get back to me on it. He never did.

Billy as the designer of his mattresses was knowledgeable of every aspect of what makes a good mattress. He was patient and friendly while we tried several alternatives. The rest of the staff made the entire experience very pleasant.
