After researching and contacting a couple of the ‘big boys’ for a solar quote (big 20 panels with 10kw battery) decided to also try a local company. Stumbled across Bournemouth Renewables and asked them to quote. The big boys did it from photos, these guys popped round (when I say popped they can chat all day with advice, golf, cycling etc so get the kettle warmed and enjoy the company…).
The quote was excellent, around 20% less, for comparable set up, but with a friendly local service too, so took the plunge and signed up with them.
Fitting was excellent….around 4 days in total with super efficient work all round, scaffolders, electrician and fitters brilliant, and even loved the dogs.
4 weeks in and halved my electricity bill in November, based on this fully expect the forecast annual saving, and be making money for the majority of months in the year.
Really pleased we made the decision (a heap of spend for anyone), and made the right choice with the local company too. Recommended.
