Complete scam
Booked a car on line for 60 dollars. It said all fees included. When picking the car up I was presented with a 356 dollar bill. Complete scam. I ended up with no car. Avoid at all cost. Do not rent from boutique rental car

I strongly advise against renting from Boutique Rent a Car in Miami.
They lure customers in with attractive prices online, only to claim upon arrival that there are no cars available — or worse, that you’ve been marked as a “no-show” if you arrive even an hour later than the indicated pickup time. At an international airport, delays are completely normal. Flights get delayed, immigration takes time, luggage can take forever. Penalizing customers for that is unacceptable.
This feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic. The low rates seem designed to get you through the door, only for the situation to suddenly “change” once you’re there and have little alternative.
On top of that, the office was dirty and unprofessional, and the level of service was practically non-existent. There was no effort to find a solution, no customer care, no sense of accountability.
Overall, a very shady operation. Save yourself the stress and book with a reputable company instead.
Excellent experience with Boutique Cars Miami.
Communication was clear and efficient, the car was in perfect condition, and everything went smoothly from start to finish.
Very professional service. I would definitely rent from them again.
WARNING: Avoid “Boutique” Car Rental in Miami – Scam Tactics and Zero Respect
My family and I had one of the worst rental experiences ever with a company called Boutique in Miami, Florida, on December 25, 2025. The way this business operates feels like a complete scam and people need to be warned before they book here.
We had reserved several vans more than two months in advance for a family trip, and our reservation was fully confirmed. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk treated us with an extremely disrespectful and arrogant attitude from the moment she started speaking with us. She claimed that our vehicle had been in an accident and that it was “impossible” to give us the van we had reserved, showing a random photo that did not include any reservation number or proof that it was actually our vehicle.
Instead of trying to help or offer a solution, she repeated aggressively that there was “no solution,” raising her voice and talking down to us as if everything was our fault. When I calmly suggested that they rent us the same van we were returning (which was actually more expensive and clearly not in my favor), she responded with sarcasm and bad faith, saying that I was “not doing her a favor” and that she would not give us any kind of discount, even though the vehicle she was offering at that moment was cheaper than what we had originally reserved.
I explained that I was stressed because this was a long‑planned family trip and that our reservation had been made well in advance, but she simply ignored me and stared at her screen. She said she would charge whatever price appeared on her computer and that was it. When I continued insisting, still respectfully, she suddenly threatened to call the police, accusing me of having an “aggressive tone,” even though I never insulted her or raised my voice.
When my husband arrived, naturally upset because we were clearly being taken advantage of, she repeated the same accusation and immediately called the police. The most shocking part is that when the officers arrived, they mentioned that they receive calls from this same rental company almost every day, which says a lot about how often they have conflicts with customers.
On top of all this, their prices are completely deceptive. They advertise one amount online, but once you are at the counter they start inflating the total with all kinds of “mandatory” extras: tours, insurances, fees, and charges that were never clearly disclosed in the original reservation. Other customers have reported similar hidden fees and abusive charges, which confirms that this is not an isolated case but a pattern of behavior.
For your own peace of mind and your wallet, do not rent from Boutique in Miami. Look for a reputable, well‑known rental company instead and avoid risking your family trip and your money with a business that uses deceptive practices, disrespects customers, and has frequent police involvement due to the way they treat people.
I rented a car from Boutiquecarsmiami through Discovercars.com. I had already paid $302.80 but was charged another $400 in taxes, $150 for using my own credit card and $600 that the counter rep said I had to take for collision although my credit card covered that. So my new rental bill was $1650!!!!
After driving the car, i found it was infested with ants that got into any food I put in the car, and ran around everywhere. I was on the other side of the state by that time so it was a 4 hour drive to take the car back. After driving for 2 days, a message came on that the batteries in the FOB were done. Also a message that the tires needed air. I purchased new batteries for the fob and got air. 2 days later I needed more air for the tires. I called emergency and was told to take it to a tire center where I was told I needed a new tire. I called emergency 4 times, and till today, 3 weeks later, they have not called back. I finally got in touch with customer service and sent my receipts, a week ago, and was promised of a refund of $150, which I have never received. Also, a light came on for almost the entire rental period that it needed an oil change. According to the chart on the windshield, it should of been done 1500 miles BEFORE I picked up the car.
When I returned the car, I got out and no one came to check the car. A girl was sitting at an outside desk, doing nothing, but until I asked, she then said I could go.
A HORRIBLE experience.
