From our first contact Bowalker Windows were truely excellent. Competitive pricing and top top quality. We ordered a stable door and aluminium sliding doors. We are really pleased with the whole experience. We noticed a tiny blemish on the glass and Bowalker returned promptly and ordered and the installed a replacement. You get a 10 year warranty which covers the installed items but also workmanship. This means if there is any slight adjustments needed in the future then Bowalker cover this.

Despite my decision to replace all my windows in January, I had a universally positive and happily recommendable experience with Bowalker. The quotation process was simple, the pricing was good and the service and final product is exactly to my needs. Happy customer.

Apart from a minor problem with window handles which was rectified quickly Bowalker window provided their usual good service.

It’s very hard when you read these reviews to determine if they are from actual people/customers. I can verify I am a very real happy customer of Bowalker Windows. From initial quote through to follow up of their work, they have been excellent and I will use them again in the future. No hard sales/pressure. Very competitive prices, keeping our money in a local business as well. One of the best choices I made going with this company. You will not be disappointed if you go with them for any of your double glazing.

We have just had 5 windows and bi-folding doors installed. The whole experience with Bowalker has been excellent. The initial survey was conducted very professionally and we were given useful advice as to what would be suitable replacements. We were also told about potential building works that may be needed. Having placed the order, a survey was conducted and it was confirmed that minor building works were needed. This was arranged on the spot. On installation day, the installation team arrived on time and set about making sure that our furnishings and carpets were protected. The team were very polite and friendly and kept us informed of the progress throughout. We are very happy with the windows and door and the service provided. We recommend Bowalker Windows without any hesitation.

Great experience from start to finish. Bowalkers were recommended to us so we contacted through the website. We got a callback within a day and discussed the available options as we live in a conservation area. The team were knowledgeable and helpful from the outset.
A site visit was carried out and the windows ordered. The filters were professional, polite and efficient. Great service and great product. Looking forward to getting the remaining windows fitted. Highly recommended.

Amazing value and service. I am not sure what is up with the other reviews on here as they get great reviews on Checkatrade and that chimes with my experience.

4.5m by 2m sliding doors fitted with integral blinds for just over £4k was a very competitive price. We are beyond delighted with the result, anthracite grey (natch) they look the business.

I did extensive research and they were only a bit more expensive than various randoms on the internet, but they are a local company to me (in Burgess Hill). Recommended by my builder who has used them for various projects.

Our experience of bowalker during a very stressful time was very bad & I would not recommend this company.
My elderly parents asked this company to fit 2 double glazed windows. A few days before the fitting a woman from bowalker phoned to advise several fitters had tested positive for coronavirus & they would delay fitting. By the time the revised date came my father had passed away. The fitter they sent on 2nd February 2021, did not wear a mask, he didn’t, nor did the company, ask if this was acceptable. He did not maintain social distancing & engaged in conversation with my mother which resulted in him being invited to look over my late father’s classic car, which was in a confined space. Instead of declining he happily viewed the car & then advised my mother he knew someone who would buy it. Very shortly after he left a member of the family arrived & noticed a crack in one of the newly fitted windows. She phoned Bowalkers & spoke to Mr Walker who was reluctant to take any responsibility for the window stating it was fine when the fitter left! Eventually he agreed to replace the window. In view of the first fitter’s behaviour she requested that someone only come on a Wednesday or Friday when someone else could be present. Mr Walker agreed. The company phoned to offer 12th February 2021, which wasn’t acceptable as it was my father’s funeral. So they phoned the next day, & as they didn’t get a reply, Mr Walker told his son to just call by on the Monday & ask to fit it without an appointment. My mother didn’t like to say no to them, so they came in & fitted it. Within minutes of them leaving a woman from Bowalkers phoned my mother & was talking about payment. My mother, who is hard if hearing got very worried that they thought she couldn’t pay, so they told them she had the cash in the house. Mr Walker was there in a flash & stood on the doorstep counting the money. There was no time for anyone to check the standard of work. When I spoke to Mr Walker to ask why the fitters turned up on a Monday evening when he had been told that only Wednesday & Friday were acceptable, he denied being told this. He was unapologetic and said anything negative written about the company would be challenged by them

End result looks nice & staff seem nice but sadly this isn’t always enough. Hence overall, and for a number of reasons, I would most definitely not recommend their services.

Superb - purchased an Air 500 door from them. Anthony was very professional, got back to my emails and came over to survey, quote and then deliver to schedule.

Installation was straightforward and door looks great.
