I would not buy anything from this site if you read this review.

I bought a so called robot carpet sweeper that climbed stairs and went back to its own loading bay.

What they sent me was what a 3yr old would play with.

Do Not be fooled by this company has everything they advertise is nothing like what you will receive.

I asked for my money back and I was told I would have to send it back to China and once it was there they would refund my money,
Knowing that it would cost more than what I paid for the product.

I don’t know how this country allows people like this to trade here,
When they’re intentionally and fraudulently taking money of off people,
For products that don’t exist.

I gave up on trying to get my money back.

Please Do Not Under Any Circumstances Buy anything from this company unless you don’t mind losing your money.

An absolute scam

An absolute scam. The products this company advertises most definitely are not what they sent out! I received a tiny plastic hoover that I wouldn’t even give to a child as a play toy of a real robot hoover/ mop.
I’ve tried to get a refund but am still waiting.
YouTube clearly don’t check out the companies they are selling advertising space to, as long as they are receiving the money why would they care?
Avoid braaunn completely and save your money.

Braaun ‘LiDAR’ sweeping robot

Braaun ‘LiDAR’ sweeping robot

FAILFeb

Many false claims are put forward in their advertising for this product:

The advertising showed it weaving a path through a set of obstacles. As supplied it was completely unable to avoid obstacles continuously bumping into things and then (nearly) always simply making a right turn. One time it entered a space and never managed to get out again, unable to exit through the wide gap it came in through, and going round in circles until it ran out of battery. It covers some areas (pathways) multiple times and other large areas not at all. It therefore requires the whole area to be swept by hand afterwards. The ‘sweeping robot’ is thus a complete waste of time.

LiDAR implies that it should be capable of mapping the space it is in and therefore of avoiding obstacles, and also of mapping where it has swept and where it hasn’t. Clearly it doesn’t.

The advertising (and its name) implies it uses LiDAR to sense its environment and avoid collisions. It has no LiDAR functionality. The advertising shows that the metal circle on the top raises up to activate the LiDAR scanners, but it is completely fixed so clearly no LiDAR scanners are incorporated.

The advertising claims that it has a large dust container allowing it to operate for over a month. It doesn’t - it has a small space inside the sweeper that rapidly fills.

The advertising shows it retreating into a large container ‘home’ box presumably where the dust from each sweep is supposedly emptied and the sweeper gets recharged. No such container box was supplied.

The advertising showed it mopping up spills. As supplied it couldn’t, simply scattering the spill across the floor. Only dust flicking brushes were supplied.

The advertising showed it managing to negotiate a small step with lever wheels that lift up over the step. As supplied it did not have this mechanism and indeed I found it stuck with wheels spinning when it managed to get onto a very small step.

Three weeks ago I informed Braaun of these failings and requested a refund. There has been no reply.

Had a 3am drunken purchase of a home defense plastic bullet gun ,obviously illegal in my country, expected it to be returned by customs and have my money refunded, but it actually arrived- a toy cheap plastic spring loaded pistol fires small plastic bullets with the force of a 90yr old ejaculating, it ain't gonna stop much more than a moth. Very disappointed £39 for a cheap toy, definitely a con ,avoid this company at all costs..

Selling weapons!

Today this company was advertising a Glock 19 hand gun on YouTube and saying it was legal in the UK if you fill it with rubber bullets! I've reported it to YouTube as another scam by this company but I guess their algorithm let it through because guns are fine to sell where they are based in America. Please, if you see this ad, report it to YouTube so it can be taken off air immediately, they don't seem to remove anything unless they get multiple reports.

Blatant scam

On You Tube they advertised a rubber-bullet firing Colt replica gun from China, shown as being made by North China Industries and the video shows it with recoil and capable of bursting a water bottle used as target. They say the gun is legal in the UK, normally £350, but a promotion is selling a few at £35.
What I got sent was a cheap plastic kids toy that shoots plastic pellets a few feet and bears only a vague resemblance to the real thing. This is not just misleading advertising but outright fraud.
I have requested a refund but suspected I may have to raise a dispute claim via PayPal. I did so and PayPal say refund is issued and on the way, which Braaunn confirmed. Hope this is correct.

I purchased two pairs of glasses from Braaunn.com they were not as advertised the only communication was through WhatsApp and although you had 28 day's to return they would not respond to any requests for details of returns. I eventually got my payment back through my credit card. I have just noticed on my phone the same company Braaunn.com is advertising an electric shaver. How are these people able to keep advertising they are clearly fraudulent do not purchase anything from Braaunn.com unless you wish to be ripped off.
