I was encouraged to take an A-Level course, the course was very good. However after the course I haven't been able to access employment or relevant employment. I have been told to do cleaning jobs and even this is hard to find. I was sacked in one employment from someone from Morocco who seemed to have tracked or followed me. Due to unemployment I am now at risk of losing my housing. I funded the course from some money a relative had given me. I have been given information that a person who took a degree at Bradford Uni who became ill, has now passed away.

Very toxic environment that leaves…

Very toxic environment that leaves students to sink or swim. I'm a former social work student that had undiagnosed ADHD and wasn't believed or offered support and nearly ended my life over it. Came out the other end very bitter and angry, I did not qualify, I'm thankful I didn't now, I'm thriving in a career I love; I wish I saved my 30 grand and booked a cruise! It's about the worst thing I ever did choosing to study at this place. Was bullied by a practice educator and not believed, Sue Harvey was particularly unpleasant, tried to fail my placement and used my mental health issues against me, no duty of care, has a lot to answer for and Mearle Fletcher was another very rude unprofessional woman, they should not be working with vulnerable people. All the decent staff with morals and sense have left this place for better prospects.

By the way, I had to put a date to leave this review but I left in 2016 and I hope things have changed since then but judging by the reviews and the keeness to censor them rather than taking feedback on board, I very much doubt they have.

If I could give less stars, I would.

If I could give less stars, I would.
Bradford College 14-16 Provision said they'd help us get an EHCP done, 2 years later, no help or input.
They said they'd help with a dyslexia assessment, took over a year of chasing to finally get this completed, and another month for the results from the assessor, who would have known on the day.
They have done nothing to prevent vaping inside classrooms and/or smoking on site.
They remove the bullied child instead of the bullies. Ignore most bullying. Victim blame.
When complaints go in, send teachers off sick so they don't have to answer for changing a single autistic child's entire schedule at a moment's notice then allow them to ignore their emails when a parent questions why this is deemed appropriate.
Allow child to teach the class, not as a supported learning skill, but because the teacher is bored, unskilled, a cover teacher.
There has been maybe one supportive teacher in the entire provision. She's 5* on her own. But she's not enough to prop up the rest of the provision to get negative stars.
Bradford College 14-16 Provision was our last choice when Covid and severe bullying had alienated our autistic child from mainstream school, so we used it to support home school. They went from being capable of sitting and passing their GCSEs at Grades 8 and 9 at age 13 to just about scraping 4s at age 16. Wish I'd never sent them.
What a mistake.
Hindsight is a beautiful thing.

Lack of Prompt Customer Service (or ANY for that matter!)

I feel very frustrated that I completed a course on the 11th of July but have still not yet received my certificate. I have sent numerous email enquiries, to which I get passed off to various people who claim they can help but it appears to just be a placation until my next enquiry. I finally called today and spoke to a very confused sounding person who eventually hung up on me when I insisted that I'd like to speak with someone who could give me real answers. I've been very patient, polite, and kind in all of my contact with the college; however, I have also been firmly insistent on getting answers, which doesn't seem to go over very well.
I would NEVER take any other courses through Bradford College again.
