The ring itself is beautiful, however I was disappointed with the personalization quality. The date and initials were engraved much lighter than the rest of the ring. The product photos on the website show a deeper etching, which is what I was expecting.

The picture of the ring is very nice but I was not very impressed with the ring in person. The eagle, globe, and anchor on the front is not as detailed as the picture. The insignias on the side is poorly stamped (or how ever it was done), it doesnt look as crisp as it was advertised. However, the weight of the ring is nice and what it stands for is the real reason I wanted to give it as a gift. I don't think the recipient will look into the detail as much as I have.
