Very cute, love the Mickey, but the after-dark lighting feature is a bit of a waste because even though there are points of light around the face, the hands of the clock are not illuminated so you can’t tell the time. A great addition to our kitchen.

Excellent quality and function. The clock is easy to hang with one wall screw or moderate to heavy nail. The clock is heavy after installing four (4) D batteries (for LED lights function) and one (1) AA battery (for clock function. It updates every odd hour, so the clock is extremely accurate. Beautiful Mickey background, and the clock hands (hour and minute) are very well crafted. There is no second hand. It isn't needed. The hands may be difficult to see in the 10 and 11 o'clock positions because of the black background that displays Mickey's ears, but it becomes more visible in that area after a month's use. The minute hand slightly advances about every 10 seconds, and the movement is very sophisticated looking. There isn't a smooth action, which makes the clock better. In dim light, the clock illuminutes in the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock position with the center and Mickey logo (at the bottom position) illuminating, too. The photocell is adjusted well to turn on the Clock's LEDs when the exterior light level is dim. How long the D batteries last is a good question. The clock is visible under it's LED illumination about ten feet away. I highly recommend this clock. It's worth the money.

The pictures on your website seems to show that while the LED is lite, the entire face dial is lite. That is not what I am seeing. When the LED is activated, you only see the numbers on the dial. You do not see the clock hands which makes it very difficult to see what time it is. I don't know if this is a defect in my clock or that is how the face is lite when the LED is activated.
