When the lights are off you can't even see what time it is. Spent alot of money and also on batteries u expected that when the lights were off it wouldn't be illuminated enough to see the time. That was one my main reasons to purchase the USMC clock to shine bright in the night and show the time!. After all all it is a clock.

I like the way it looks the only thing the night light is orange it would be better if it were soft blue. I had a little trouble getting to it to set the time at first, I had to take it outside so it would set itself to the correct time. I just hope it keeps resetting itself inside.

Perhaps a little over priced but the clock was much more than I anticipated. It was bigger than I anticipated. The lights appear to be a great enhancement however they may not be enough to be able to read the hands in the dark. Perhaps if the hands were white...at least at the tip. I am finding it difficult to hang. There appears to be a place in the back to attach the hanging nail or screw but it will be difficult to use it.
