I found them through an advert on social media. I filled in their form and they emailed me asking for more details. I gave the details and they emailed me like this:

I clicked on the link and it took me to their calendar and this is my warning to everyone. In the small print it says that booking this meeting and joining the magazine will incur 'a small fee'. It gives no details of how much this fee is.

Any company that charges a unknown amount of money for an introduction meeting must be a con.

I immediately was alarmed and went to their website and started exploring it. Half of the links didn't work and although AI says they are legit - even their 5--star reviews look fake.

I would steer clear of this company!!

I don't know about you all, but this does not look small at all to me!!

I had an interview with them at the beginning of September. They offered me the contract, I then went away and thought about it.

I was then harassed with messages and emails. Then on 16th September I noticed a business had commenced with the same name as my unique model and frame work i created with the exact same idea and concepts. When I confronted, I was presented with someone who gaslit me throughout telling me I should be ashamed of myself for not being love and light.

I received an email from someone representing Brainz Magazine saying that they thought I would fit into their profile of entrepreneurs that they'd like to feature, and he was very up front that there was a monthly fee (or a one time large payment). He also said that I retained copyright on anything that I wrote, when I asked. But I said I needed some time before scheduling a meeting, when they sent me a link to sign up for it. I then got a barrage of emails saying they wanted to "lock in my spot" and that they often got all kinds of people who wanted in. Okay.... well I've heard that kind of hard pressure sales pitch before. I said no, I'd like to wait a couple of months and explained my very busy schedule. They kept sending emails if I was still interested and could I schedule something in the next couple of days. I kept replying politely that I needed a couple of months and then was more explicit about my demanding schedule at the moment, and said I needed time to do my own due diligence. Then I went on Reddit and did not like what I read, including that the terms and conditions are not what was represented to me. So no, I'm not taking their pushy opportunity. Sorry, salesperson. As nice as you are, I don't trust you guys now.

I have been a contributor with Brainz Magazine for a little over a year now. At first, I was offered an Executive level partnership, then, approximately six months into this collaboration, Brainz Magazine extended an offer for a Premium Partnership. I was extremely honored to be selected to partner with the Brainz Magazine to begin with, and was very pleased to have been given an opportunity to become a Premium partner as well. My experience over the past year has been very positive, and I am happy to mention that it has met and surpassed my expectations, in terms of online visibility and reach. My practice - Astraea Healing Connection - was established formally in 2022, so it is a relatively new business. One of my objectives has been to have increased online visibility for the business overall, and the content that I have shared through the collaboration with Brainz Magazine. I am delighted that the content ranks high in Google searches and the analytics for the readership/viewership of my articles, including the one-time podcast, have been great, far surpassing my original expectations. During the course of the year, I have had the pleasure to interact with different teams of the magazine, and the representatives have always been extremely professional, courteous, and accommodating of my needs.
