Arranged to collect item. Hire Station put it on van for delivery then failed to deliver it !

Hires a stump grinder from Brandon's for a week. Good competitive price. Machinery delivered clean and in good condition. Drivers for both delivery and collection were helpful, friendly and hardworking.

Good communication, delivered and picked up when stated. Machine was in in good condition, would definitely hire from them again.

Fantastic price for weekly hire on a 5.2 mtr platform.
One piece of advice, call to check you are scheduled for a visit on your collection day. Loaded everything out front and rang at 4.30 on the Thursday to enquire why it had not been collected and was told they were running late on collections and the earliest would be the next Tuesday. Had to move it all around the back again.
It’s only a small quibble when I could have used it for a few more days for free and the delivery guy was great. You can’t argue with price. Hence 5 stars anyway. Will definitely use again. Recommended.

The best thing about Brandon hire is that it's not HSS Hire which is properly useless.

Brandon Tool hire clearly have the same design of website which is less than perfect but unlike HSS is does seem to work when you pay for the hire.

Most of all when I visited there were actual staff available to deal with the hire itself and if you wanted to unlike HSS you can turn up and book in person. That's a huge bonus if you need a bit of help working out exact requirements. And I'd like to note that the staff I dealt with in Norwich were very good.

I hired a floor and edge sander plus the abrasive sheets to go with them. What's not said on their website is that as long as you don't use them and they are in the same condition you bought them, they will be refunded. In other words buy a load of them just in case and return what you don't need.

My floor sander carked it at the end of the first day of hire and the time did not allow Brandon to come out and replace it. Rather than waste time I took it back and got another working one and was told that the hire was extended to compensate.

One top tip if renting the floor sander. Get a load more dust bags than recommended. I found that after a couple of empties they just didn't want to work anymore. If you think you need 2 or 3, get 6 or 7.

Overall, not cheap but no worse than HSS and their customer service is miles better.

Sander was collected without any difficulty. Machine worked well and staff were helpful.

Phoning Brandon Norwich always helpful with advice regarding extras needed for the tool you are hiring. Confident in what goes with what. Let you buy the extras for the tool and let you return them if not used. Which is handy when you are contracting, better to take too much and return unused items after, than have to come back during the job to get replacements. Some hire firms don’t actually have the tools in the shop as they store them 30 odd miles away in another town.

Utter garbage. The post hole borer was not effective or the drill part remotely sharp. It bounced around despite three of us weighting it down!

Emailed them to tell them about the problems we had and didn't even merit a reply. Will be using anyone but Brandon in the future.
