1200mm Prop Pal Needle Reviews

The Prop Pal Needle Systems are a UK invention designed to improve safety and efficiency in the construction industry, particularly for builders working on home extensions and renovations. For years, builders have used makeshift methods utilising timber, steel joists and box section as ‘needles’ for supporting walls when creating openings, without fully understanding their load bearing capacities, integrity and most importantly, their safety; the Prop Pal Needle Systems have been designed so that a builder’s prop location into the needle is locked in position once it has been wound up.  CE marked and constructed from S275 Structural Steel, both sizes have a safe working load of up to 1050kg, and can be used if the beam is running parallel to the floor joists. The 1200mm can support walls up to 550mm thick, whilst the 1800mm can support walls up to 600mm (ideal for stone build properties). Please note, that the maximum spacing for either needle support is 900mm, (so if your opening is 5 metres, you would need a minimum of 6).
