Great log splitter for big jobs. Only bad part is the stupid operating valve designed in the name of safely. You have to use both hands on it and it hurts your thumbs after an hour or so. A simple up down joystick would be better. Having to use both hands simply means that someone else has to hold the log.

I hired the most powerful petrol log splitter and it was a solid bit of kit which made light work of beech and elm. Very fuel efficient, well made and BHire were very helpful explaining the basics. Effortless!

Brandon Tool hire failed to supply this piece of equipment despite having plenty of notice and instead supplied an electric version which in my view failed to meet the requirements of my order.
Started first time every time and split many hundred of logs over a 1 week period.
