It worked well and dealt with the stumps as required. The brake was awkward to apply and the lever sometimes jumped out and had to be re-set. The starter cord broke and there was an overnight delay until it could be fixed.
Excellent piece of kit that did the job. One thing to bear in mind for anyone hiring it is that it's quite heavy to wheel around, it would be better if it was motorised for moving, other than that cracking tool that did what I hired it for.
It worked well
Powerful machine, quite heavy to operate. Weight also needs to be borne in mind when transporting. Chomped its way through 3 stumps very quickly. Would definitely hire again

Clapped out. The delivery driver was nice but could not demonstrate how to use it
Bit of a beast. Did 9 big stumps with ease, need to be strong enough to manoeuvre it though.
Powerful piece of kit that was more than capable for the job I had. A challenge at times to wield due to its size and power but I managed to get the job done.
Bit of a beast of a machine, takes some handling. Had three large stumps and a number of smaller ones. I would never have got them out by hand. The machine makes light work of the tree stumps but you still know you have done a days work. Definately needed the full weekend hire. Had a couple of issues with the grinder but customer service was excellent

It came with blunt blades and didn’t work
Heavy to use particularly getting machine up hill, however, very effective at grinding large stumps of approximately 3 feet in diameter to below ground level. Small stumps ground in 15-20 minutes. A smaller stump grinder would not have managed the job. I would recommend this appliance for any heavy duty grinding.
Excellent equipment. Did its job well.

Didn’t get a chance to see how it performed as it didn’t work. It was picked up and I was refunded in full.

Did what it was meant to very impressed
it's a bit of a beast and it did the job we wanted it to easily!
