Superb customer service

My mother uses a Branx treadmill daily to keep up her fitness and mobility, which enables her to live alone and be independent, without the need for carers. Quite something, considering she’s 97.
We recently had a problem with the treadmill. I asked if this could be treated as urgent, as she relies so heavily on it being operational. I was phoned immediately by a manager called Peter who had a long conversation to analyse the problem, and then stayed in close touch until the issue was sorted out. He was enormously kind and understanding of my mother’s anxiety, and did a great deal to calm and support her until the situation was resolved. He went above and beyond. I’m very grateful.

Excellent treadmill and customer service

I bought an Elite Runner Pro Treadmill 2 years ago and have been absolutely delighted with it. I had a minor issue with the running belt after I'd been using it for 11 months and Branx sent an engineer very quickly who resolved the problem, with no charge. I have been in touch again just recently to ask about having my treadmill serviced (I use it a lot!) and Pete was extremely helpful by giving me information about an independent engineer who would be able to service it for me more cheaply than Branx could offer. Fantastic customer service!

Amazing company and customer service

I bought a treadmill and encountered issues with around 11 months of owning it. The company listened and helped with my issues, tried fault finding and eventually replaced it. It is very encouraging to find a company that cares and provides excellent customer service. The team and service engineer were brilliant from start to finish. Highly recommed this UK based company and their products.

1000% perfect service.

Myself and I've since helped some friends and family buy a treadmill from branx fitness. The service has been fantastic every time. Always done as agreed. Never pushy. Mine even broke. On the last day of warranty. It was a sunday and i couldn't call till the monday. It was then out of warranty And they send an engineer to fix it under warranty still. 1000% brilliant

The word is Trust

The word is Trust .
Do I trust Branx fitness as an honest reliable
and trustworthy company . Emphatically Yes.
Why , through word of mouth from Mat I was introduced to Branx fitness . They did not try to sell me something I did not need , they listened to what I wanted, an indoor treadmill to run four times a week for half hour at a time with variable speeds and incline . Mat had great knowledge and told me that Branx not only sell, they build to a top level. I took the plunge I ordered and paid and my delivery with complete instructions etc, followed 2 days later on a pallet ( where even the delivery guys were helpful and impressive ). Highly recommend , and I’m a Yorkshireman , not easily given to high praise but known for liking a great deal which the treadmill was .

Poor After-Sales Support – £35 Just to Talk?

Branx Fitness claims to offer “impeccable service” and “preferential treatment,” but my experience was far from that.
After emailing about a fault with our treadmill, we were sent a list of questions to answer before speaking with a service engineer. I followed up via live chat and was told by Martin that speaking with an engineer would cost £35, or £166 for a visit. When I asked what the visit included, I was told it would be inspection only—if the treadmill worked, they’d service it; if not, they couldn’t help beyond “available parameters.”
I only wanted help interpreting an error code. Martin confirmed it meant “excess current” but said further advice was chargeable due to legal restrictions. I pointed out that Branx’s website doesn’t mention this fee, and that I simply needed guidance to decide whether to repair or replace. Martin said I could complain via email, but the decision wouldn’t change.
I understand the need for qualified advice, but charging £35 just to speak with someone is excessive. I don’t pay my mechanic to discuss potential faults, yet they’re also trained professionals. As it stands, I could be £201 out of pocket and still have a treadmill that doesn’t work.
This experience felt transactional, not supportive—disappointing from a brand that claims to be client-centred.

Update: Still Waiting for Support – Misleading Response from Branx Fitness.

Following my initial review, Branx Fitness responded publicly with claims that do not reflect the full truth of my experience. I feel compelled to clarify.
Yes, I was told the error code meant “excess current,” but beyond that, I was informed by Martin via live chat that any further advice—even basic guidance—would cost £35, or £166 for an engineer visit. When I asked what the visit included, I was told it would be an inspection only, and that if the treadmill wasn’t working, the engineer would be limited to “available parameters.” This was vague and unhelpful.
Branx’s public reply suggests they “went above and beyond” at no cost. In reality, I was given minimal information and told that any meaningful support required payment. I referenced an earlier email from Kiera stating that engineers could advise based on my responses, but Martin contradicted this. I also pointed out that Branx’s website makes no mention of the £35 fee for speaking with a service engineer, something I still believe should be disclosed upfront.
After submitting a formal complaint, I received an email from Peter Jones, the sales manager, offering to call me. I promptly replied with my availability and phone number. No call came. I followed up again, but still no response.
This experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I understand the importance of safety and qualified advice, but Branx’s approach felt transactional, not client-centred. Their public response misrepresents the facts, and their private communication has been inconsistent at best.
I stand by my original review and hope Branx will take steps to improve transparency, follow-through, and genuine customer care.

Hi thanks for your comments. We did give you our feedback on the error code you told us, we asked many questions and due to the treadmill being over 7 years old, that error code provided shows excess current meaning it is something electrical and therefore requires a professional visit or advice. Both of these services cost (at this stage only due to age of machine) and as your well out of any warranty and have passed the 6 year mark (consumer goods related) this is only fair and reasonable for us to inform you of this should you wish to proceed.

Any additional advice/support beyond the point we reached with you which was extremely thorough and detailed would have to come from a qualified engineer with electrical experience and certification, thats just how we work. We do not cut corners and when it comes to safety of our customers we will not change this stance. If your treadmill was only a few years old there is no charge full support given but several years of age and the symptoms you mentioned to us are vast and complex the complexity increases and therefore we are unable to visit etc for free which seems from your messages to be what you are looking for. Sorry we just cant do that.

We had gone above and beyond to assist you at no cost, but the normal steps you would need to take would be for either an engineer to visit and inspect and test all and then you can make an informed decision on how you wish to proceed or to have an engineer call where there is a charge based upon your treadmill being the age its at (and as mentioned above) and they can ask you to check certain things safely under there strickt supervision.

I clarify again, the error code/symptoms you have is not only only excess current and being 7 years plus of age means you need professional advice and ideally a visit from an engineer, this would cost and there is no way round this. No reputable company should ever advise a customer on electrical / complex issues unless they are electrically trained and as we would have to instruct someone at that level we get charged and therefore so do you.

We have been polite, honest and helped you thoroughly all at no cost and thats fine, but there comes a point where more is needed and there is a cost for that next step.
Many thanks
The Team

Avoid Branx Fitness – Appalling Service and False Warranty Claims

We purchased a treadmill from Branx Fitness and it failed after only 20 months. The company initially refused to repair it, insisting we pay for parts and labour. Only after reminding them of their legal obligations did they agree to send an engineer. The engineer fitted new parts but failed to test the machine, it broke down again within ten minutes of use.
Despite advertising a two-year warranty, Branx Fitness has since refused further repairs, inventing baseless excuses to avoid honouring their agreement. Their customer service has been rude, aggressive, and dismissive, showing no accountability or professionalism. The engineer appeared incompetent and more interested in shifting blame than fixing the issue.
A deeply frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish. Branx Fitness cannot be trusted — avoid this company completely.

Thanks for your message. Our version of events as follows in short:

You reported an issue to us and we arranged for parts to be sent to you at NO COST, we then arranged for an engineer to visit to inspect the treadmill and changed all parts at NO COST. The engineer reported back the treadmills condition as per photographic supporting evidence showed the treadmill had clearly not been maintained in accordance with the guidelines and clearly not looked after well at all.
The machine was testing and worked when the engineer left. All at NO COST to you (we were well within our rights to have charged and/or not fitted the parts) given the condition of the treadmill, however we went above and beyond and fully fulfilled our legal obligations under the consumer credit act of 2015. We also advised that your extension lead could also be causing issues and advised to purchase a new one. Your comments are clearly coming from a frustrated place but this has completely been miss guided at us with no grounds for such false claims about us being aggressive and dismissive and suggesting the 3rd party engineer we used who has 30 years of industry experience appeared incompetent. Hurtful and untrue words. However we hope you find peace in your life as we can only do our human best with the upmost of integrity and that we did. The Team

Non existent customer service

Non existent customer service . Our compact, foldable treadmill machine broke two weeks ago and we have tried to contact the company by phone, live chat and email but no reply. Customer contact was great at point of purchase, but now nothing. If you're looking for a treadmill, shop around .
28/7 we used the phone contact information in our product manual and on the website. I sent an email to the service address given out on the phone 17:06 on the 14th July 25 .
1/8 This most definitely is a genuine enquiry, not a scam. If you check your service email address for the date and time given, you will see an email from my partner: the lead contact at the time of purchase. Obviously we've had no reply from Branxfitness. My mobile number was in the email and I left it on the livechat message we sent and on answer phones. As the person asking for help, I'm not really going to leave an incorrect number. I'm not ringing you again, it's clear that nothing has changed.

Hi, after messaging you back here and speaking with our team and going through all emails this month under your name (we dont know your partners name is?) we have found no emails or voicemails left from you or by you, therefore currently we have suspicion to believe this is a scam to just leave us a 1 star review. If in-fact this is not the case then please call us and if we dont answer leave a message with a valid phone number so we can return your call or email: service@branxfitness.co.uk and our team will respond as we do with every genuine enquiry. Again if this is genuine and you want our help we cant help by just replying to this 1 star review, we need you to make contact with us, otherwise it makes us helping you completely impossible. Cardio Pro Treadmill highly recommended

I've had my treadmill for nearly 4 years and use it very heavily - 4 or 5 times per week and must have done around 7,000km on it. Its durability compared to other treadmills I had before has been fantastic, and on the few occasions I've contacted the company for minor running repairs the customer service has been first rate. When it does eventually need to be replaced I will buy another Branx machine without hesitation!

The Branx Fitness Elite Runner Pro soft…

The Branx Fitness Elite Runner Pro soft drop works just fine. Handles a good walk through to rapid run effortlessly, smooth with excellent impact cushioning.

I had to dismantle it to get it up to my new first floor gym, which comprises the Branx treadmill, a NordicTrack s22i cycle and a cross trainer. The Treadmill was quick and easy to reassemble, just a few obvious bolts and one wire with easy plugs ends to reconnect.

I needed an 8:1 mechanical advantage pulley to get it up the stairs, me pulling at top and a brave friend guiding at the base.

A really great machine

A really great machine - it is cleverly designed - there is a button your turn for the speed so no need to thump at a button as you are running. The belt is smooth and tight and it is great to run on such a well engineered machine. In my opinion, the best value semi commercial machine for people who are serious about running and don't want over complicated extras that will go wrong. If you are interested in running on a treadmill then this is your machine.
