Lack of service
After my internet connection went down, it was never restored. Brdy continued to take my direct debit and have never refunded the amount I paid without service. They are impossible to communicate with - you cannot talk to them on the phone, At one stage they did respond to emails but that phase was short-lived. My best advice is to avoid this company - giving them one star is over-generous.
Terrible service and customer service
Terrible service and customer service. We used brdy since they took over our previous provider, since being with them we have had terrible service with it frequently dropping to unusable. About a month ago it stopped working completely, we reported it but were ignored for days, eventually they sent out a part to be fitted on the dish (no help or instructions on how to do this) the part needed to be attached to the dish that sticks out away several feet from the wall and is up near the roof, which is impossible for me to do. Brdy would not send anyone to help and the number they gave me for an engineer (I would need to pay) for did not work. No local engineer will touch it because its brdy. Since then they have ignored several emails and messages and we have had no working internet for weeks. Eventually I cancelled our contract, which they confirm, but since then they have sent me lots ofbemails demanding payment despite me not having a contract with then, not responding to any emails or messages for help over several weeks and no service at all in over a month. I can't even log on to my account because its closed but they are still demanding money a couple of times a week. It's been a total nightmare for ages and I urge you to avoid all the frustration and avoid this company.
Steer well clear of these charlatans..
Steer well clear of these charlatans... On the 24th on November 2025 we reported that our internet had stopped working (and had been virtually unuseable for the best part of a week by then)... they did nothingbyo help.us, refusing to replace the router (which i know was the problem) and by the 2nd December we'd had enough and signed up for Starlink (which I can't recommend enough)... they are still relentlessly hounding us for the December payment which we had no service for. PLEASE don't trust these crooks.
Would not recommend
Service was getting slower and slower. Now no service what so ever. They finally replied to a "Ticket" I raised on my login page - told me my dish was out of alignment. Cannot reach them by telephone. They sent a pdf (which they obviously usually give to their installation engineers) with instructions for me to realign it myself.
Absolutely useless. Will be finding another provider ASAP.
Used them for a few years
Used them for a few years. They did improve but.. It is unreliable, contact is nigh on impossible, finally had enough and am having fibre next week. Got a reply to my complaint 3 weeks later! When its in I will cancel standing order. Their illegal contract says I must return their equipment. Well I will take it down and give them notice it will be scrapped in 14 days if they don't collect. Look forward to their answer to that. Chancers making money via 3rd world who have to use their rubbish. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE USE THEM. Update they don't want their equipment back, only time I have had a fast reply. Sky installed in 20 minutes, same price 10 times the speed.
4hr outage
We have never got the download speeds promised, and we suffer from frequent brief outages, which is very annoying. Yesterday, the 25th May 2025, we had no internet for 4 hours - approx. 12:45-16:45. There is no way of contacting the provider. The website does not have a phone number or email address.
Second satellite router has committed…
Second satellite router has committed suicide
Won't talk to /connect to the satellite.
Complained months ago that this one was acting up
No easy way to contact them now that contracts are transferred to new company with no phone support.
Have had internet suspended as they…
Have had internet suspended as they have said we have not paid ! We had a problem trying to pay months ago then we had eventually an email giving us the new bank details to a new company! We are so disappointed with this service. We have sent screen shots of payments but they have not come back to us. We have had to go out and buy a mobile broadband SIM card so that we can get some internet.
They have no customer service and no phone number to call. It’s absolutely ridiculous. We have just been cut off without anybody to contact to sort this problem out! Stay well clear!
DO NOT USE BRDY TELECOM
Brdy telecom double billed me for 5 months. They do not have a phone number to call and don't respond to emails. Due to the double billing, I cancelled the direct debit. They have now suspended my service and left me with no internet connection - other than my mobile network.
I would score 0 if I could
I would score 0 if I could. I have been without a broadband connection since November and was told that I need a new transmitter/receiver, but they have none in stock. Sent numerous emails asking for an update but no replies received, however I am still getting payment requests and reminders. I suggested that I stopped paying for the service that I wasn’t receiving and asked for their views on that, but again, received no response. Didn’t pay my last invoice and now getting told that my subscription will be cancelled if I don’t pay. I’ve asked them to speak to me several times, but nothing apart from emails asking me to pay. Sharks!! Stay well clear of this dreadful company. I reckon they owe me £250 in refunds. Guess I’m off to the ombudsman!!
I would give them 0 if I could. Steer Clear
I would give them 0 if I could.
We live in a remote part of Wales. With no mobile connection or internet.
In this paperless age, internet is becoming a necessity.
None existent customer service.
Every time you message them you get no response. We were with Big Blu Saterlight internet. Which was subsequently taken over by Birdy Saterlight.
In October we received various sales calls telling us to switch to their installation. So we would have more data and faster speeds. Quite the reverse.
We were told we needed a new router and saterlight dish.
Shortly after installation we were experiencing very slow down load speeds. If you opened a page it would slowly open first text then photos.
Trying to do online banking, it kept timing out.
Shortly after we were with what I assume is a sister Company. Birdy Telecom. Promised even faster speeds and more data for the same price. Worse!
She went on the Portal to complain.
Download speeds at times less than 2 Mpps up load speed of less than 1 Mpps.
On the Portal my wife said a pop up box was offered an upgrade n at no extra cost .
So we upgraded.
We were at a location where we could get 4G, last week, so my wife did online banking and checking a statement she discovered They had been taking double the money from our Bank account.
Back to the Portal No response as usual.
So my wife put a block on payments.
She messaged them yet again.no lresponse. We have now ordered Starlink.
Friends a couple of miles have lightening fast upload and download speeds.
It's an expense we could do without .
My wife gets a reduced pension as she left work early to help look after aging parents and myself after I had a severe accident ten years ago. When in my early sixties.
Our next step is ,The Ombudsman.
The last time I looked both companies Brdy Saterlight and Telecom were still touting for new customers.
When I told one of my sons about our service. He went on a Business Registration site, think he said something about Companies House . He said Brdy Saterlight are going into Liquidation.
Terrible internet service; terrible customer service
Their service is ridiculously poor. I have been asking for help with their useless service: data not resetting, exorbitant data jumps while the service is down, latency issues, buffering issues, etc. You can’t reach them by telephone, you can’t reach them by email, when you open a ticket asking for help, they take a day or two to respond and there’s no alert when they do, and they close the ticket if you don’t get back right away. I responded to one extremely long suggestion about how to check my speed (which I’d already done several times and sent screenshots to prove it) and they told me to do the same thing they told me to do before I responded. Basically, I didn’t have the internet to use the tools they told me to use to check my internet 🤦🏻♀️, Then they closed my ticket for not responding fast enough. Also they won’t let you open another ticket once they’ve closed it. Did I mention you can’t reach them??!!!

Brdy administration
For clarity, Brdy Broadband Ltd are no longer trading, but anyone using the 'KVHTS' satellite has been moved over to a business called Brdy Telecom ltd, so no old customer of Brdy should be without service. You can contact Brdy Telecom through the Brdy.co website customer login and send them a message.
Brdy Ltd has gone into administration…
Brdy Ltd has gone into administration and ceased trading, which will explain its customers' inability to contact them and also any issues its customers may be now having with ongoing connectivity.

I write this as a former customer
I write this as a former customer, to warn anyone who may be thinking of contacting Brdy. You probably can't get hold of anyone anyway....
My husband first installed a Tooway dish 12 years ago when he was building our house. There was no form of mobile signal until about 2 years ago here, and the BT phone lines are so old they won't even support dial up Internet....so simply no other way.
He was a customer with another company which was transferred to various over the last few years, but it led to Bigblu, and then Brdy (after they change their name....just like Hermes to Evri, and service did not improve). Due to the fact we did everything online (TV streaming, messaging etc.) he was signed up to a completely unlimited package initially, and each time we looked in to bringing the prices down we were repeatedly told that none of their cheaper packages could offer what we were already getting, and if we wanted to guarantee the download speeds we had we would have to stick to the higher price. This increased from about £65 seven years ago, up to the staggering £110 per month the last two years with Brdy. Initially customer service was fairly reliable, and if we lost connection and couldn't get things up and running by resetting our dish ourselves, you could call and get assistance on the phone. This service gradually fell by the wayside, and it became increasingly difficult to speak to anyone. Everything switched to an "online portal" which we were never automatically invited to set up, I had to request the invitation email three times over months to try and get it done.
Roll on the end of January this year....Internet service disappeared completely! All the lights on the router were flashing and it was connected fine....just no service. This happened on a Friday morning, and no update was given to customers. Just informed that they were trying to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. A quick Internet search on companies house showed accounts were over 3 months overdue, there was also a filing for administration online. But still no communication from Brdy with a full explanation. Thankfully as we were on a viasat dish, on the Sunday afternoon we were reconnected....but by Bentley Telecom! We recieved emails saying any future dealings would be with Bentley. Bentley were in touch almost straight away to make sure they held correct details and could set up new payment plans. We were automatically put on one of their high to mid range packages...and we are only paying £50 per month! We have waited a month to see if streaming would drop, as we were always under the impression we used a lot of data and with Brdy would be through our priority data very quickly.
Pleased to report that the service with Bentley has been excellent, our data is fine, and we have more than halved our internet costs. Which begs the question, why did Brdy charge £110 a month? Obviously because they were desperate for the money. And it still hasn't helped them.
My recommendation would be to avoid this company at all costs. I suspect you wouldn't be able to sign up now anyway, as they are obviously heading to insolvency. But do consider Bentley Telecom!

New customer
New customer, terrible service to contact, requested 10 call backs, used WhatsApp. After 10 days still not actually spoke to anyone. No contact phone number anywhere to actually contact them.
Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service. Trying to obtain a refund as they took my account over from another provider. Keep being told I’ll hear from them “soon”.
Avoid.
