Attended the Level 1 instructor course. Personally I did it as a ‘hobby’ nothing to do with my profession. The course content is science-backed.. so interesting and informative, I would listen to it as a ‘break’ from work and exam studies . The expedition was a transformative experience, absolutely exceeded my expectations. The days are packed and meticulously planned to maximise the intake of the experience both emotionally and intellectually. The team is a bunch of amazing humans that have attracted each other. They guide from the heart, they are true mentors. Respect - In practice and in teaching there is so much emphasis on the integration process and safety protocols which are all advocated in the team’s facilitation. The key takes are 1. you leave with a confidence to facilitate breath work 2. you have a beautiful human experience 3. You become part of an amazing community. If you’re reading this it’s your sign - trust - do it !

The experience that Breathless provides at the Level 1 instructor training is profound. The weekend shows the gifts that Johannes has - and he shares these with humility, positive energy, appropriate boundaries, playfulness, and the ability to allow his instinct to bring the group together on the journey. It takes his depth of knowledge and his incredible emotional intelligence to make everything we learnt to be pitched at just the right level. This was then matched with the actual breath work experiences - pushing our edges but he and his extensive support team are always present, holding us, guiding us. We were given the opportunity to find our voice and facilitate - to give and receive - to build confidence, friendships and a shared vision to make breath work the most accessible healing practice in the world. One of the most amazing experiences I’ve had in my life. The calibre of facilitators is second to none and the commitment from all the amazing humans that were in attendance is immeasurable. I will forever be grateful to everyone who contributed and made the experience what it was. The experience and knowledge of all the trainers was great. The food exceptional the weekend work shop was so good I am still in the green zone a day later. The only thing was a lot of sitting on the floor.

Earlier this year I completed the Breathwork Facilitator Training. Soon after, I found myself completing the Master Breathwork Facilitator Training.
Why? Because Breathless Expeditions does make you come alive, and that's not only for me to keep. It's worthy of being shared.
For each level, I selected the online study option with the in-person segment in the Mountains, and I'm so glad that I did.

Here, I've found sanctuary. A space not just for learning the art of breath, but also for exploring the deep connections between mind, body, and spirit. The training was catered to meet us like-minded individuals wherever we were in our lives. Together, we embarked on a profound journey that empowered us deeply and strengthened our professional abilities, enabling us to transform others' lives holistically.

For me, this experience has given me the tools to embark on a new career, turning breathwork into a vocation that reaches across diverse communities. The techniques taught are remarkably inclusive, catering to everyone from children to adults, and is allowing me to make a meaningful impact.

This team is more than just skilled instructors; they are compassionate, supportive guides. Real, soulful people who are passionately dedicated to support and enrich all walks of life, together. Personally, I can say this is true. Not only have I come away empowered as an instructor, but I've become an extension of this family. I find myself with reciprocal love and support, with true connections and a place to call home.

In essence, Breathless Expeditions is a place where each breath becomes a step towards beneficial change. It’s a place where personal growth and the joy of helping others intersect. A truly extraordinary experience for anyone who seeks to connect more deeply with themselves and the world around them (with a touch of adventure).

My wife had attended the snowy mountains Breathless Expedition and loved it so she booked us into the Raja Ampat Free Diving expeditions.
I am new to Breathwork so didn't really know what to expect but had one of the best adventures and experiences I have ever had and loved it!
Johannes is a remarkable human and a real master of his discipline. Traveling to Raja Ampat is like travelling to a lost world and the ocean is so crystal clear and teeming with the most amazing sea life and scenery...I think I have spoilt myself for future free diving as don't know how you could get better than that. What I learnt from the free diving and breath work I know is helping me to be a better father, better partner and just better prepared to deal with the stress of the real world! I loved spending time with Johannes and also the whole crew on the trip made it such a fun and enjoyable adventure. A huge thanks to Johannes for his incredible tuition and patience with a newbie and again thank you to the Raja Ampat crew for our time together.

I completed the Masters Breathwork training in retreat and it was a truly transformational life changing experience.
