Hi David,
Very sorry to hear that you still seem to be getting emails from us still.
The whole unsubscribe process is automated (presume you tried the 'unsubscribe' button at the foot of a newsletter...), so until someone lets us know there has been an issue, we can't do anything about it.
If you'd notified us directly after the first attempt failed, we could have removed you manually. If you can supply your email address, I can do that now for you.
Interestingly, you only seem to give one star reviews to sites - 9 so far - and they seem to lack nuance. I notice you didn't rate the original order you received from us a year ago, for instance.
You gave the freelance site Fiverr a one star review even though (and I quote) "i had a great experience with the freelancer i used and got exactly what i required."
Surely excellent service also deserves a review (and you must have received some from someone) but you only seem to concentrate on the negative...
Dreadful customer service!
Not sure about the beer as I’ve only bought it as a gift, but thought the packs looked great. Tried to order just over £100 of stuff for another gift and it got bumped up by over £20 at checkout. Customer service confirmed this didn’t seem right and somebody would contact me. Nobody did and when I went back to the site to see if the issue had been resolved the prices had all gone up on the website! Maybe it was correcting a mistake but the fact nobody came back to me as promised and they didn’t honour the original prices that had been advertised leaves a bad impression of their customer service. Plenty of other craft beer companies out there with great gift packs and much better customer service so I’d recommend trying them!

Thanks for your review and I apologise that no-one got back to as promised. Hands up, an error on our part.
I've tried to discover what happened and I think I can explain the pricing discrepancy for you.
I believe you initially tried to order while on holiday in France, so, when browsing you would have seen pricing initially without VAT - outside the UK, pricing is displayed without taxes as these will be applied and paid when the order is processed by local customs.
However, you apparently wanted it delivered to a UK address, at which point VAT would have been added to the order, hence the difference in the price that you saw.
Presumably you then returned to the UK and checked the price again and would have seen the domestic pricing which automatically includes sales tax. We haven't changed the pricing on the site since the beginning of the year.
It would seem it wasn't a case of not honouring the price, just the difference in what you saw based on your varying locations. However, if the above is not correct, please let us know.
