Easy to mix I mixed in smaller batches to avoid the mortar going off. Worked well in a pointing gun, starts setting instantly meaning I only pointed a few courses at a time. Very time consuming to finish off the joints to a good standard.

The grey brick slip pointing mortar is cement-based and suitable for mortar gun or grout bag application .
It is suitable for use internally or externally, around a log burner or in a bathroom too.
The grey mortar is a 25kg bag, labelled 'Natural' and will cover around 3-3.5m², assuming a bond with full tiles only, with 10mm joints, and our 22mm thick brick slips. If you are using the contemporary collection, it will cover 4.5m² as they are only 14mm thick.
You'll need between 3.5 and 4.5 litres of water to mix a full bag to the right consistency.
The bag will cover around 3m² of flemish bond and around 2.5m² of English bond.
Please note: the mortar will be darker on application until the mortar dries fully.

Looks perfect with my Blend 12 bricks, used as a splashback behind my hob. Builder found it easy to use.
Perfect for purpose
Great finish. You will need to dampen the joints before and keep out of direct sunlight when applying.
