Im new to bridge and I do the daily beginner challenges on BBO. I also love the practice hands with solutions- super helpful in developing play and allowing repeat attempts to embed learning. There’s so much to explore - I’m addicted!

Very user friendly.I was using the table to teach two of my students to have a go at playing on line.The proof was they enjoyed it and found it relatively easy the first time.

BBO is advertised as 'free'. Yes you can get a log in without paying, but if you want to do anything, you have to pay. Not just a 'normal' amount, but a huge cost to do basic stuff - even to 'hire' a robot. Incredible

I was taught to play Acol as a child.
Over the years I played bridge with friends around the country, and have learnt to play another 4-5 conventions. As a Senior my best convention is American Standard 5 card Major.
Since I have retired, I find BBO the answer. As I have many other interests, it's good to be able to log on to BBO and play bridge at any time of day or night, without needing a partner.

I find this site totally reliable. Great to play and to practise bridge

Fast, available any time

I love playing bridge on BBO. The game is great , however I do encounter many rude people. There are also people who want to give instructions during play. I have made it very clear in my profile what my skill level is and others who play differently should not be pressuring me to learn a new convention while I am trying to concentrate on playing as well as I am able. The people who use bad language or call myself or others rude names are the worst !

BBO is a great platform for social bridge.

What a wonderful online service for bridge playing. I was so lucky to have discovered them years ago, when I was moving between time zones, and 24x7 helped me relax. Really helped me get through Covid.
Many Improvements have been made, and the Acol coverage is much appreciated. All the analysis provided cannot fail to make you a happier, better bridge player.
