I've never experienced such fast and responsive support that actually delivered results. I needed modifications to an existing scraper with new filters and endpoints, and the team got them to me and everyone else in less than four days after my initial request. Great UX all around.

One of the most frustrating, customer-blind platforms I’ve ever dealt with

I came to Bright Data genuinely excited. The tech looks great, the scrapers are good, the interface is clean, and on the surface the per-line cost seems fantastic.

But Bright Data manage to take a genuinely promising product and bury it under one of the most hostile, user-ignorant pricing models imaginable.

You are forced to spend $250 for every single dataset, no matter whether you need 500 rows or 5,000, and no matter how often you run a query. That means if you need three sets, you pay $750. If you need ten, you pay $2,500. There is no credit system, no scaling, no logic, no consideration for how real businesses actually work. It feels deliberately designed to squeeze users rather than serve them.

It is so disconnected from customer reality that it borders on scammy.
Not fraudulent. Just scammy in spirit.
As in: profit first, usability last.

This is what happens when a company fails to think about customers, fails to consider usability, and builds a pricing structure in a vacuum. It punishes the people who want to use the tool rather than supporting them.

So yes, the tech is cool. Yes, the scrapers work beautifully. But none of that matters when the business model is this fundamentally broken.

If Bright Data ever adopt a sane, credit-based system like every other modern data platform, I’d happily reconsider. Until then, this setup is unworkable, unnecessarily expensive, and deeply disappointing.

Amazing, so far way more reliable proxies then competitors and support were surprisingly fast to respond compared to other proxy providers i've used in the past and when having a issue unlike competitors their solution isn't to just swap Ip they actually went though my apps setup with me to fix my issue.
