This place is full of scam artists

This place is full of scam artists. On my very first visit they proposed thousands of dollars of unneeded dental care, which I confirmed with a second opinion (using the same x-rays) was almost completely unnecessary. Plus, they wouldn't even do a standard cleaning, instead insisting that I needed an expensive deep cleaning (>$200) that was—surprise—not covered by my insurance. And, of course they had the payment plan options ready to go just in case I couldn't afford this ridiculous sum of money.

The visit started with more x-rays than I have ever received in one sitting, 18 standard films (some obviously redundant) plus one panoramic x-ray. Really? A panoramic x-ray for a first time patient you've never even had a doctor speak to? Maybe you could've just asked if I had my wisdom teeth out rather than blow the film on such an expensive diagnostic. This was obviously a scam intended to squeeze as much out of my insurance coverage as they possibly could before trying to hit me up for out-of-pocket costs.

This office proposed 5 fillings and a root canal. The root canal was proposed on a tooth with no pain, no sensitivity, and without even discussing the option of a crown. My second opinion dentist confirmed that the same tooth would probably be just fine with a standard filling. Moreover, my second opinion confirmed that none of the other 5 fillings were necessary; some of them were just to replace perfectly good existing silver fillings.

I was asked no less than three times if I was feeling any pain or sensitivity, to which I replied "No", every time. It is highly unprofessional to recommend such a radical, aggressive treatment plan for someone who is clearly not feeling any discomfort. In fact, the hygienist was so rough with her initial gum inspection, that I was fairly certain she was trying to cause me to wince, just so she could claim that I did in fact have some pain.

My father was an extremely well-known oral surgeon, and I even used to work in his office as a teenager. When I showed him my x-rays and treatment plan, he also agreed with my second opinion dentist's recommendations. I've seen a dentist every six months for nearly 20 years, and I floss every day. Never in my life has a new dentist on the first visit proposed such an audacious treatment plan. Get a clue, guys. Not everyone is going to fall for your lies.

Personnel were very friendly

Personnel were very friendly, yet professional. Kept me informed every step of the two hour visit.
Very little wait time prior to appt. and when checking out. Very positive experience.
And best of all--no pain!

Staff is nice

Staff is nice. Appointments keep getting changed.

Try to push most expensive treatments. Several of my friends were surprised that I go to you. They left because you charge too much.

Hade 1st appointment to have the right side deep cleaned went to make appointment for the left side I was told no appointments were available for AM Cleanings Mon Tues. or Wed for 2 months I will be do for my 6 month cleaning before I get my deep cleaning done SO SAD

I went in for my regular cleaning in the Visalia office. As always, I had a great experience with my hygienist, Baylie. The cleaning was pleasant and comfortable. Thank you!

DDS roll over is since 02/2016 has been four doctors! Seems mistakes that were made by a previous dentist, the company, Bright Now Dental, does not readily accept responsibility, leaving the patient in a lurch. Company appears to be more profit oriented than caring about its patients.

1st appointment

1st appointment - they called to ask me to move my appointment to the morning. I complied then I waited an HOUR to get seen.

2nd appointment - I was to have a cavity filled and follow-up on a procedure from the 1st appointment. The dentist was suddenly unavailable and I was asked to make a 3rd appointment. When I confirmed my appointment the day before they never mentioned the dentist was not going to be there. Customer service is lacking.

The hygienist was nice but pushing $$ services and products. Overall you feel more like a wallet then a patient there.
