Happy with New Insulation.

Soon after I contacted them, Brightr Auckland arranged for a home assessment and helped us to obtain a Warmer Kiwi Homes grant to replace our old and damaged underfloor insulation. They replaced it with a Mammoth polyester blanket, checked our ceiling insulation and installed a ground moisture barrier to ensure that our home is dry and warm. The team completed the installation work promptly and without hassle. We are happy with the new underfloor insulation and would gladly recommend them.

Three Months of Delays, Excuses, and No Progress

We had an absolutely terrible experience with Brightr Dunedin. Signed our contract with them because they told us they could replace our downlights through a healthy homes grant, and then ducked us for three months because they didn't actually have anything in place to do this. When I reached out to them for updates, they were often surly and stand-off-ish and constantly lied about how close they were to confirming an install date. We cancelled our contract after three months because they still had not made any progress and then repeated the same cycle with our refund, telling me repeatedly that it had already been processed and then admitting that this wasn't true. By far the worst experience I've ever had with contractors, and bordering on fraudulent behaviour.

I purchased a house in Coromandel…

I purchased a house in Coromandel Township with no insulation.
They did under the roof insulation first, and the team was efficient and quick. The insulation was like a huge blanket which I felt was much better than the old school batts..

A week later another team installed the insulation under my house. I decided that it would be advisable to get a blanket on the ground to stop dampness rising as well as as the underfloor insulation. The underfloor insulation looks amazing..

Wow! Such a huge difference, and today tested it. We had such a windy day and the temperature wasn't warm at all. The difference in the inside and outside was significant.

We were warned that the underfloor insulation would mean that we would be without power for a couple of hours.. Thanks for communicating this effectively..

I just hope you continue your excellent service..

And, special thanks to the guy who initially came to visit our property to ensure that there was enough room to install the installation... He's a legend..

BrightR Whanganui.I recommend

BrightR Whanganui. Crystal was efficient and explained everything clearly. Andrew cam back to me quickly with acceptance for subsidized insulation installation. Arranged date for installation which was done in very timely manner.
The young men who did the job were very thorough and very good.
They were respectful and got on with
job responsibly.
Highly recommend them.

Couldn’t fault the service

Couldn’t fault the service. Everything was done quickly efficiently. From organising someone to come and asses our property, getting it quoted and then to having it put in our house was done in less than a week. Our next winter will be a lot cosier. Yay

Agree with the appalling comment

Agree with the appalling comment. I called and made an appointment. They confirmed and then they didn't show up. I emailed and asked them why and they said they would get back to me. I sent a 2nd email and I still haven't heard from them.. After reading review I will not use them

Appalling from start to finish

Appalling from start to finish. Forgot my booking, rebooked and only the heat pump people turned up not insulation as agreed. Third booking and the called an hour and half after booking time to say were held up probably wouldn't make it. Fourth booking and finally completed it. Then the heat pump stopped completely. They couldn't get anyone out for 3 days (midwinter). Paid to get our own electrician out after the hot water stopped too. Turns out they had hooked the heat pump up to the hot water circuit and blown it as the load is too much for it. So now no hot water or heating, lost 4 days of annual leave and dog kennel fees. Complete incompetence from all involved. Would never use or recommend.
