It put my hair in dreadlocks that finally needed to be cut out by 2 people. NOTHING was done to my hair with the exception of washing and conditioning for a month and every time I washed and conditioned it looked like a rats nest. After the last washing I lost more than HALF my hair and I have pics for proof.

I use the “don’t despair. Repair” deep conditioner, and the shampoo. The shampoo dried out my fine curly hair and the conditioner did nothing for me…. The conditioner somehow has tons of great reviews, but I might as well have not used conditioner because not only did my hair not feel moisturized… The conditioner is watery. It has no slip. It seems like it disappears into your hair, but it doesn’t do anything…. I think people just review this positively because it’s “clean” -meaning they just slightly chemically altered some ingredients that there’s no proof actually does any damage to you or your hair… and possibly because it’s minority owned? I don’t know.

I can say for sure I’ve tried quite a few products by them, hoping that it was just this mask or just this line but all of it hasn’t even been as good as drugstore products…

Save your money or if you’re gonna invest a lot of money in a high-end shampoo go with the Living Proof, or Purology. The LP Repair conditioner and shampoo are still absolutely fantastic, despite the formula changing a few years ago. Since I wanted a couple different benefits, I paired the LP Thickening shampoo (one in the gray bottle) with the LP Repair conditioner, this time…. my package arrived and last night I opened the shampoo and conditioner, and washed my hair, Blow dried it quickly, (with some leave in conditioner and heat protection oils) and threw it up. It’s afternoon now, I just took it down and omg, as I’m running my fingers through my silky, soft clean, feeling hair , I’m totally reminded why I keep coming back to this line! It feels so soft and clean…when normally by today my fine hair would feel dry and crunchy…

If you for some reason, don’t like living proof products… Then 100% would go with Pureology over Briogio… the moisture line in the purple bottles are the best they have to offer. I’ve tried a couple other lines by them for shampoo and conditioner, was not a fan.

I love trying new shampoo and conditioners and I still don’t understand how a this Briogio brand is even in business. I would choose a drugstore shampoo for the rest of my life than anything by them … It’s overpriced 💩 that literally made my hair feel worse….I’m pretty sure if I would’ve continued to use it instead of throwing it away… My hair would be more damaged.

My order came missing 8 items, they refused to refund or replace the missing items, only offering 15% off a new order.

I had the WORST allergic reaction to the Briogeo Dont Dispair, Repair shampoo and conditioner. I shampooed my hair in the shower as I normally do and..... I developed an intensive scalp itch reaction. In addition, I guess because the product was washed out, running down my body, my back, arms and legs developed the same excessive itch as well. I also had severe hair loss (hair coming out from the root). I'm hopeful that my hair will return to its previous healthy state soon. This was the worst hair product experience that I've ever had. (I'm 56 and a former full time stylist for over 12 years).

These are the best hair products I’ve ever used! They have great ingredients too—so glad I discovered this brand!!!

DO NOT BUY. I have been using the Briogeo Scalp Revival line. It has made my hair dry, brittle, itchy and has resulted in a rash on my neck and ears. It's a shame that for the price of this product the results have been horrible. I had to throw it away. Be careful as it may cause an allergic reaction.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience using Briogeo hair care products. Not only did their products cause significant damage to my hair, but they also severely affected my daughters' hair as well. The results were far from what was promised, leaving us frustrated and upset.

When I reached out to the company to explain the situation, their response was dismissive and unhelpful. Instead of acknowledging the issue, they kept arguing and suggesting I use the product in different ways, as if the damage was my fault. This was incredibly frustrating, especially after seeing the harm their products caused.

When I requested a return and refund, they outright refused and instead offered me a $100 gift card. This felt completely irrelevant and insulting, as I have no intention of ever using their products again. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to resolve the issue has left me with no trust in this brand.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing from Briogeo. The damage to our hair and the poor customer service have made this a regrettable experience.

My package was “delivered” a week ago now on December 4th yet I have still to receive the products I ordered. I have attempted to contact Briogeo multiple times now and have only received a single email response not even addressing my concern and just stating that the package was delivered and to use this link to see that. I need these products for a Christmas present so it’s concerning that this is the type of customer service this brand offers. order 5911055

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Briogeo regarding my recent order. After tracking my shipment, I discovered that it was never delivered, despite USPS indicating it had been. I promptly reached out to Briogeo, hoping for assistance.

After a couple of emails with no response, I finally received a reply suggesting I contact USPS and check with my neighbors. I did exactly that, but USPS informed me that they couldn't help and advised me to reach out to the sender for further assistance.

When I returned to Briogeo with this information, their response was underwhelming. They mentioned that they couldn’t do anything about it and insisted that this transaction had been attempted multiple times in their system, which felt like a lot of excuses rather than solutions.

Overall, I am really disappointed with their customer service and lack of support. It’s a shame because I was looking forward to trying their products. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Briogeo and would advise others to stay away.

I purchased the don’t despair repair hair line products. It seems that my scalp has become intense itchy and my hair has become a bit more brittle. Also, noticed I am losing hair a bit more. I have only used the hair mask, strengthening oil, leave-in conditioner. I do not believe that I should use it any further. So for me these products do not work.

Don’t waste your money!
The consistency of the shampoo is like water and the conditioner is like paste. Worst I’ve ever tried.

I’ve been using Briogeo for about four years now, and it has transformed my hair! It is worth skipping drug store shampoos/conditioners filled with parabens and other synthetic chemicals. My hair is shiny, long, and the healthiest it’s ever been. I have put my whole family onto Briogeo, and we regularly purchase their products.

The one thing I don’t like is that they got rid of their charcoal shampoo and don’t despair deep conditioning mask duo that was $52. Probably to make more money but that’s a bummer that I have to buy them separately for more.

Briogeo has been great for my hair and skin. Usually haircare products break out my skin and give me an itchy scalp but Briogeo totally healed my hair. I love their deep conditioning mask, shampoos, gel, and conditioner. The Kiwi Matcha, Curl Charisma, and Detox lines are all incredible.

Briogeo’s curl charisma formulations are perfect for my 3a/3b hair. The protein-rich ingredients provide the right amount of moisture and protein to keep my hair healthy, regardless of the fact that I wash nearly every day. My hair dresser always compliments my hair, and I’ve completely eliminated the use hot tools thanks to Briogeo.

I purchased the Briogeo Scalp Revival micro exfoliating shampoo and scalp treatment. I was influenced by my hair dresser. My scalp has a tendency to become oily and makes my hair look greasy. They two products have made an exceptional difference in my hair. I am able to go two days without washing. My hair has incredible volume. It also feels clean without being dry. I love these products.

Using whole line don’t despair! Breakage and dry brittle hair almost gone!

I received a recommendation about Briogeo from my hair stylist who noticed great damage and scalp issues. I was diagnosed with seborrhic dermatitis and the medicated shampoo that was given to me by a dermatologist didn’t work after a while with consistent use. I also think that winter was pretty harsh to my hair and skin this season. So far, the scalp revival line has worked well to decrease the frequency and intensity of itchiness and flakes. I also have the don't despair repair conditioner and mask to help with adding moisture. My hair feels like butter afterwards and it’s shiny. I’ve used the line for a month so far so I’m looking forward to see how my hair transforms in the next few months.

I've been using Briogeo for over a year and am beyond impressed with the results. It has helped me reduce the money I'm spending on hair cuts because my hair is healthier for longer! The shine and frizz control is unmatched and the deep conditioning mask helps my hair feel like it should be in a commercial :).
