Established in 1990, British Mouldings specialise in all types of fibrous plaster work including restoration and exterior. Our standard range of quality fibrous plaster products includes cornices, ceiling roses, corbels, dado and panel moulds. All products are manufactured to the highest quality by skilled craftsmen at our Norwich site. Visitors are invited to view the many designs on display at our workshop, as well as discuss their specific project requirements with our design and sales and team.

I don't often take the time to write reviews but felt I needed to comment on the excellent customer service provided by David at British Mouldings. It is a real sign that the firm have an outstanding 'can do' culture. British Mouldings were unfortunately not suitable for my requirements due to my location and the distance involved, but they still responded to my query in a timely manner. Even when it was clear that it wasn't going to result in a sale, they then provided follow on advice over where I might source a similar suitable product closer to home. I have been buying Fine Casting Plaster from this company for several years. I wanted to try the harder setting Crystacal R. Communication throughout is efficient. There was a change to delivery times, I was informed well in advance. When I turned up the plaster was put in my boot by 2 friendly blokes, I went to pay but it was on the house. I used to teach the Managing Director Jonathan Battrick- Newall over 20 years ago. I came away feeling that there are some friendly and generous people out there, spreading some good vibes. I would recommend this company without this very generous gesture on their part. They are straightforward, efficient people doing good work and can provide local artists wanting to use plaster with everything they need just on the edge of Norwich Airport.

i contacted the company to match up some moulding I purchased from the previous company over 10 years ago. Even referring to an old catalogue they were able to match up the coving precisely. Order to delivery was quick ,even during covid times. Friendly company to deal with who offer a range of services. Nice little touches such as a small bag of plaster were suggested and provided free, as an alternative to poly filler. Also provided advice on how to fit went down well. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Jonathan and the team have helped us restore the missing period features from our Georgian house installing cornicing, dado rails and elements like ceiling roses. They are knowledgable and have been really helpful choosing authentic and suitable mouldings to complement the house.
Their work is second-to-none: all mouldings are made in-house and the fitters are true craftsmen using traditional techniques to ensure the mouldings will be there for the next 250 years.

We have used British Mouldings on four different occasions now as we are renovating our Georgian farmhouse and their service and products are consistently 5 star. We chose them originally as they are a local firm located in Norwich and they were quick to respond to our call and come and take measurements for the first project. This required a specialist piece of cornice to match an existing pattern and all went very well.
Since then we have had 3 other projects, a bathroom, bedroom and hall and we cannot fault the workmanship of Paul and Tom. They were skilful and careful and always tidied up at the end of the day.
We are happy to recommend Jonathan and his team at British Mouldings.
