It isn’t surprising to see how terrible…
It isn’t surprising to see how terrible their score is. Their WiFi is absolutely abysmal and this is in central London. It cuts out all day everyday no matter how many times you reset it. Do NOT use EE
EE a total nightmare
I started having problems in April with overcharging and problems with wi-fi. After over 8 hours on the phone, 5 engineer visits. I am still having problems. At the moment I have 3 routers, 2 TV boxes and 5 extenders in my home and still having problems. Yesterday I attempted to cancel my contract and was told that I could not cancel without charge unless there was a problem. At that moment there wasn't I had an engineer visit he got everything working but said speeds were lower than they should be. 3 hours later no Wi-Fi on 3 separate devices. I then spent an hour on the phone switching things off and on. Unplugging devices . This follows 3 days without picture on TV or sound or both. One day it will connect then it won't. Promised compensation once the engineer had visited and sorted the problem by Mark a supervisor from Stockport but 18 hours later no contact. EE are without doubt the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.
Like everyone else... total rubbish
Like everyone else, terrible broadband that continually disconnects. I live on a street without a fibre connection this is SO awful.
Staff are polite and friendly but…
Staff are polite and friendly but completely useless. Internet has been consistently dropping out for weeks again and sat on the phone on hold for nearly an hour for the person to say can’t tell you anything will need an engineer to come out and then a 4-5 days wait for an engineer to come out. Paying £41.00 per month for broadband that constantly drops out and then no convenient and quick technical support is just extremely inefficient. None of the wiser what the issue is. Apparently can’t provide compensation for days gone without connection. I would save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.
Dog sh*t
Dog sh*t! Do not use. The WiFi is abysmal. The user interface is terrible. It’s a complete scam.
No customer loyalty
Been with EE in one shape or form since the days of Orange.
EE increases prices mid term, mid contract which i disagree with.
Confirmed today by EE they offer new customers a significantly better Broadband deal than existing customers.
Where is the value to me as a customer there !!
Seems like 87% who took time to give a review agreed with me and gave a '1 star rating'
Moving a contract from one address to the other is a nightmare
EE braodband was working fine for thethe last 2 years. But we moved house and trouble started. Despite I just wanted to move my contract to the new house, EE offered a new 24 h contract which I agreed to. However, when the engineer arrived, they expected us to have the old equipment and left within 5 minutes, telling us that we can just plug in our old modem and it will work. Well, it does not, so while we are paying EE charges, we do not have service. No follow up from EE. I arranged another engineer visit through their auomated system, but now I got a message that this visit means EE is cancelling the contract. Why?? Also, the EE mobile app stopped working and goes around in circle from login to security checks but never actually letting me use the app.
My experience so far with ee is that they are awful
My experience so far with ee is that they have been awful. They persuaded me to “upgrade “ to full fibre and then have failed to install it. I have had four appointments, where I needed to stay in all day, missed. I have been without broadband for nearly two weeks so far. They say they can’t cancel it and put me back to the original broadband that worked. My advice to anyone thinking of switching to ee or to full fibre is don’t as it is an awful mess. I now have them saying that they can’t do anything because it is with their suppliers.
Very bad internet and not happy with…
Very bad internet and not happy with the customer service too because they wouldnt help at all. They kept saying we tested your internet is good.
Appalling service - avoid avoid avoid
Appalling service. Disgusting customer service advisors. Literally lie over the phone and back track on what is said even though ‘calls are recorded’. Had an absolute nightmare with my home move. They told me not to worry it was a smooth hand over. They charged me on the house I’d left and had to amend the false claims to my credit score after they admitted it was THEIR error not mine. They classed me as a ‘violent’ customer due to me crying as I spent over 4 hours during my work hours on the phone to them repeating myself to about 6 different people for them to close my complaint and not offer resolution, JUST AVIOD THIS COMPANY. Shit show of events.
3 months of utter rubbish…

Would you buy a car from this salesman
Now IMHO it’s would you buy your IP from these salesmen
My answer is definitely not
Slower than dial-up
They recently "upgraded" me from the old BT router I had.
Since the "upgrade" the internet speed has been incredibly slow! The devices are always disconnecting from the WiFi, I keep pausing and dropping out of Zoom calls, so much buffering when watching stuff online, websites take an age to load...and I'm paying more for this than I was previously. Avoid at all costs!
Going all round the houses to have a simple conversation
I would give no stars, chatting to EE is like me saying to my kids before we chat we must walk across the street. Now we need to go over there to those houses and now finally lets walk to those houses across the road. "Going all round the houses". My internet kept dropping there was a day when I had none at all. Getting in touch with them is diabolical chat with an automated voice when you call 150 then a text to click on, then to a list then click on that then to a chat screen, it can vary but basically thats the system. Whilst going through all of that there is a large amount of wait time. They said they would send a new hub that never arrived. Also the price is expensive you can get much cheaper broadband and mobile deals out there. I have saved £29. I actually wanted to make a complaint but the same method "take me all round the houses" so decided to complain on here instead. Have canelled my service. I could go on but i'll leave it at that.
Worst experience I've ever had with any…
Worst experience I've ever had with any company in my life, constant faults bringing my Mbps down to as low as 2.31, wifi speed is never anywhere close to what is being paid for, extortionate prices of 38 pounds per month for only 40Mbps, do NOT sign a contract with these guys.
Multiple outages with very poor…
Multiple outages with very poor responses to requests for updates. EE seems to think it is acceptable for the service to be down for 3 days. Very expensive compared to Gigaclear, very slow as well. I shall not be renewing my contract. A monopolistic company that does not care about it's customers
1 star is to good for this company
1 star is to good for this company! Spoke to 6 different people on the phone still no resolution, I’ve had fee’s incurred without my consent or knowledge, to be told on the phone YOUR NOT HAVING A REFUND. I ended up in tears on the phone and very upset, I could hear people in the back ground laughing! What a shameful disgraceful place to laugh at a customer who is upset 😢 I have been with this company at for 20 years but my relationship sadly ended TODAY! Disgusting EE
Diabolical.
No Internet from Fri eve, 8pm. Have to wait until at least the following Tues for a new modem which has left me using expensive mobile data. Tried selling me an EE phone as I was explaining. Atrocious that in 2026 they've left me in this situation and I can't wait to NOT renew my contract and to complain. Amateurs.
Poor upgrade to 900 still kept getting…
Poor upgrade to 900 still kept getting problems so asked to back on 500 a week later they have cancelled are Internet totally, ring them up they it there fault can't reconnect for at least 3 days and be start of new contract.
Never use them again problems constantly for over 4 months constantly calling to sort.
