In March 1997 Broadmoor RV was born. It started out with very humble beginnings next door to the Broadmoor Factory Outlet Mall. The Parts and Service Departments were run out of shipping containers and the sales office was run out of a rented space inside the mall. A few short weeks after Broadmoor RV's creation, disaster struck. Those native to the Tri-Cities know the destruction our windstorms can bring. The Easter Morning Storm of 1997 was one of those storms: destroying several tent trailers off the lot of a dealership just starting out. In its infancy Broadmoor RV was able to make 7 sales in its first month of business. That same year in August the dealership found its new and permanent home on two and one half acres across the street from where it all started. Two and one half acres grew over the years to 22+ acres; over nine times the size. The service department has become recognized nationally as one of the best available with over 50% of technicians being master certified. From 7 units sold a month it now sells close to 1600 annually. The lastest addition of 12 more service bays, a paint booth, collision center and expanded parts department encouraged the addition of SuperStore to the name. Broadmoor RV SuperStore has Super People, Super Service and Super Prices all in one place. Come in and let them prove it! I it a good experience…..

I. Not satisfied and never was,I just wanted out of there.a lot of things were not addressed,and I’ll never go back to that location.walkthrough had left plot of unanswered questions and several things weren’t covered.Ive let people fro pasco to Montana know how unhappy I was with this purchase and they also know other and various people and couples,word gets around don’t worry……..

Buying the trailer was amazing

Buying the trailer was amazing. We brought our trailer back for some repairs. The service department was so terrible I will never take my trailer back. They said it was all fixed. Nothing was repaired. I've bought two trailers there. I will never go back

Upset purchaser

Broadmoor employees are so friendly and helpful when purchasing; afterwards not so much. General Manager Travis Blake sent a letter to contact him if unhappy about anything. Won't return phone calls, always "off today" or "on vacation". House batteries were each 1 & 1/2 quarts low on water- ruined and had to replace right after sale.

After the initial purchase

After the initial purchase, I was quite pleased and gave high marks. The salesman was fantastic and responsive. Within the first few weeks, the low quality of workmanship on the trailer became apparent and the QA of both Forest River and Broadmoor are below average. Being on the west side of the state, returning to Broadmoor was not a choice. Between the solar control being mis-wired, the inverter not working and various trim pieces coming off, I cannot give high marks anymore. All of the above mentioned were problems from the factory but should have been caught by the Broadmoor technicians. I would still come back to shop and will even recommend Broadmoor for a possible dealership to others but with a strong caveat that upon purchase, go through the unit with a fine tooth comb and make sure all systems are tested in the buyers presence. Trouble shooting over the phone is not fun and as with the solar controller, took a number of days of phone tag. I will say that your head mechanic was very helpful. Not sure of the date of purchase.

I will likely never step foot I …

I will likely never step foot I Broadmoor RV again. The sale was great, everything afterwards, completely sucks. Unless I need warranty work, you won’t see another dime from us. I’ve left so many negative reviews, and yet not ONE attempt to follow up to try to fix my terrible opinion of you….so, really you don’t give a damn. Quit sending me this crap.

Almost Catastrophic HUGE Propane Leak 1 SPARK & DEATH

Almost Catastrophic. I purchased a Tandara 5th wheel which was delivered on 9/21/23. A few hours before my anticipated departure on 9/27/23 , I turned on the unit’s furnace, which started as expected. The morning was chilly, & I wanted to warm up the interior as 3 of my dogs would be riding inside, in secured crates, for the trip. I closed the door & went back into my house to finish packing. About an hour or so later, I went out with some travel items. When I opened the door, the unit was so full of propane that I could barely breathe & was immediately becoming lightheaded. I shut off the furnace & went back outside to catch my breath. I then went back in & opened every window that I could & the vents. It took another 2 ½ hours to clear the propane out of the unit. The carbon monoxide detector was not activated.
At this point, there was no possibility of getting the problem investigated & repaired for our trip. So, I took along an electronic space heater for use in Kennewick. I felt my chances of getting repair help were hopeful since we would be so close to Broadmoor RV or at least more mobile repair providers. We arrived late in the day, & it was that evening that I also discovered that we had no hot water. Although the water heater fired just fine & I read the manual, checked every setting on the Nautilus water station, watched YouTube videos, I could not get hot water. So, for the weekend the hot water became the leading issue because we had the space heater for heat. I spoke with the Broadmoor RV service department several times, but even with telephone trouble shooting, I still could not get hot water. I also contacted 5 mobile repair companies. To no avail. Some returned my service request calls after we’d returned home.
Upon returning home, I contacted a highly rated repair company that also provides mobile repair, P & M RV Repair. I scheduled their first available appointment which was this past Monday 10/23 to repair furnace & water heater (or at least help me figure it out) & to winterize both of my units. Mike arrived as scheduled at noon.
Mike started with the hot water issue. Short version is that after checking all of the Nautilus unit plumbing, he finally discovered that the red lever had been attached with the valve exactly 90 degrees off. No matter what I did, or anyone advised, hot water would not occur as water could not get into the water heater. Mike also repaired a leak at the hot water heater & tightened 3 other fittings to stop drips.
The far more major issue was the propane leak. There was a MAJOR leak! When Mike started the furnace, as we were standing there, with the door open, he noted that it did smell a bit like propane. I reminded him that I had closed the door & left the unit for a good hour or so. He advised me as to scope of work &I confirmed that I wanted him to do whatever it took to fix the furnace / leak.
What Mike discovered was a “major LP leak at gas valve due to loose fitting at burner tube…” (Video sent to Broadmoor) This “leak” was so substantial that it was literally blowing propane. When piping leak tests are performed, leaks are usually evidenced by bubbling (of the sprayed material) at the leak. This leak was so substantial that the material couldn’t even reach the pipe/fitting. Mike also discussed that the furnace motor had been replaced without the proper procedure of removing the furnace.
So, what had happened is that when I turned on the furnace, the interior of the unit did, in fact, fill with raw propane. All it needed was a spark or flame of any kind & the unit would have exploded, resulting in my death, the death of 7 of my dogs who were sitting at my front window watching what I was doing, & the destruction of a substantial portion, or all, of my home. It was a bomb sitting at my front door. If I had not started the furnace until bedtime the evening that we arrived at Columbia Park. The unit would have filled with propane, we could have died in our sleep. As well, it would have been a “bomb” sitting amongst hundreds of people, families, kids, dogs & RV’s.
Something fell seriously short of the thorough systems’ check that Jermey described to me, which was to happen prior to delivery of this unit to me & performed by one service technician person to assure thoroughness & accountability. Reading other reviews, this lack of thorough check seems to be a theme.
I wrote the above to John Rodriguez and Jeremy Simanton on 10/25/2023. Not even the courtesy of a response. BUYER BEWARE! ANY persons that have experienced similar LACK of "PROMISED AT TIME OF OFFERANCE AND SALE BY SALESMAN" Specifically, the oral, yet also written and posted on Broadmoor's site, GUARANTEE OF FULL SYSTEMS REVIEW AND CHECK, as well as any defects for "FITNESS FOR INTENDED USE", please do respond to my review. Rcvg another review request today. I saw DEATH again. CARELESS!

Two trip to get warranty issues…

Two trip to get warranty issues corrected. Have been asking for code to the gun safe for a year and a half with NO response. The gun safe code is supposed to be part of the manufacture's documentation package.

Contacted trailer OEM regarding safe code. Had a reply within 24 hours. Opened safe and found documentation inside safe!

These guys are terrible

These guys are terrible. I payed full price. They threw in a hitch that's great and all. But when I drove 4hrs to pick.it up it had all sorts of issues and inwas there all day. Then I got it back and found even more issues. They wanted me to to bring it back.. a 4hr drive to have all this stuff fixed. What a joke.

Great experience from beginning to end

Had a great experience with Broadmoor. We purchased our 4 season trailer after Nelly showed us many options in trailers. No pressure to buy and really delivered on the price as well. We had a couple of issues the first week and contacted Wiley the service manager. He ordered the part and when it came in had it installed the same day. Super impressed with their 5 star service from beginning to end.

We travelled 1200 miles to buy our…

We travelled 1200 miles to buy our travel trailer from Broadmoor RV. Luis, our salesperson, could not have been more accommodating, before, during and even after our purchase. These folks -from the front desk, the walkthrough, the service area-could not have been nicer. Highly recommend.

I like my new trailer

I liked the lengths that Luis went to be able to get me the perfect trailer for my needs. I disliked that they got my name wrong on the licensing paperwork, and am unable to correct it immediately since I am out of state.

nelly showed alot of integrity but seemed limited by your company as to his powers and knowledge.

sales man and financial employees where great.
condition of the jaco unit was poor. water leaks inside on front window, seat belt won't retract, heater does not work, none of the holding tanks show correctly on the monitor, 3 drawers did not have closers that hold them closed so opening constantly, solar wattage questionable.
