The case is expensive and large. I have no doubt xl case will serve me well, but just be aware it will not fit in alot of Uber vehicles, unless it is a SUV type with a cargo area.

It's larger than I thought it would be, and I don't like the way it opens and closes.

Be aware that if you have a Brooks B17 then the saddle will need to be removed in order for the bike to fit into this case. An extra 1 or 2 cm of length or width in the case would be enough to prevent that. It's disappointing because replacing the stock saddle with a Brooks (at least based on my observation) is a common upgrade. The Brompton G-Line has so many small and thoughtful details. I expected the same level of thoughtfulness to go into the design of this case. My case also arrived damaged. Due to the size of this case it would be a hassle to exchange. Brompton gave me a 20% refund which is barely adequate.
