The bike came with a missing saddle and a broken front gear. The bike shop refused to give me the bike, and started the fixing process which was poorly communicated with random ETA's. After a few days of back and forth with the Brompton and the bike shop, I had to request the refund, which was not approved for two more days, so I had to open the case with the credit card company and rip my money back.

Bike had a piece crack within the first two weeks. Brought it to the store and said said “oh yeah, known defect, it’s really dangerous.” Then a few weeks later, a flat tire and no puncture to be found. Certainly would have expected more from this price point. When the bike is functioning, it runs nicely and has good battery power. Can be a little unstable on city streets. Wouldn’t buy again or recommend.

Regarding the flat tyre, we would recommend to keep the tyres pumped up regularly to 100 psi in order to limit punctures. You can view more information on how to resolve a puncture on our support pages below:

Have been riding it for 2 weeks now and have no complaints. It's a great design that leads to a really good ride. The convenience of being able to fold and store is what makes this a winner. The electrical pedal assist is wonderful and makes my commute so much easier. From my perspective, it is the best option if you're looking for a commuter bike in a busy city (my situation). Can't speak to what it would be like for other uses.

It would be good if it were fitted with puncture resistant tyres.

The gears are easy to use without the complications of the rear hub as well. I do not require really low gears or very fast speed so did not needed 12 gears.

I really like this bike - the 'e-assist' is perfect for my daily commutes as it's very smooth and efficient. The hub motor adds some weight, but the bike is still compact and convenient foldable package. Although it's a bit expensive, it's worth it as it still has all the advantages of a regular Brompton and makes hill climbs much easier. The only downside is that the battery could be smaller, but it can be easily removed for charging or carried separately. Overall, this is an excellent e-bike!

Easier to ride than my 6 speed C line standard, Did arrive with a puncture but that was easily sorted so all good.
