The Brompton G Line Electric is, quite simply, an exceptional piece of engineering. For me, this isn’t just another bike. It’s the diamond of bikes — beautifully designed, exceptionally capable and a genuine pleasure to ride.

Great bike all round. On roads, gravel. Feels solid & not at all twitchy like I’ve found on my Brompton with 16” wheels. The 20” makes it feel planted. The battery range is more than ample for my needs. The handle bar controller works great & easy to use. The lights are fantastic that come with the bike. 10/10

Had the bike less than two weeks and the battery has stopped delivering power to the bike. I now have to take it to a shop to get it fixed. Not good enough Brompton

Absolutely love the G line electric. It’s so enjoyably ride and it really does handle like a full size bike. It is expensive even when compared to the non-electric G line which is already expensive, but I feel it’s an investment and I love commuting on it.

This bike has not disappointed in any way. Having been used to my old 3 gear Brompton, & having moved to live off road in Shropshire, with many challenging hills, this comfortable electric beauty with its wider, larger wheels is utterly brilliant. The only thing I could ask for, is a better choice of luggage accessories. Otherwise, many thanks Brompton for giving me back the joy of Brompton without the risk of heart attack on the uphill stretches, coupled with excellent brakes, for the long, & sometimes torturous down hills. I am truth to tell, smugly pleased of Salop.

Best folding electric bike.I have owned a number off high end folding electric bikes and the Bromton G electric bike is by far the best. It’s easy to transport and rides beautifully.

we have just bought 2 g line electric cycles, W have other e bikes which are fine but my wife cannot bride the G line because there is little to no assistance compared to our other bikes the G line is very limited for power output much like a normal cycle

The bike is nice however, the puncture resistant tyres is claims it comes with aren’t the greatest.. I have so far done about 20 miles on mine and have suffered with 2 punctures on the rear tyre already. The gear ratios really aren’t great for going up an incline hill, the motor doesn’t seem to kick in until a full pedal around has happened when setting off from a stand still. I don’t think it’s worth this price range and should be cheaper, I also think that they should seriously look into the integrity of this bike as I know many other users have had these problems also.

I seriously love this bike!!! Excellent to ride, makes my train commute way easier and my ride at both sides seriously fun! I live in a hilly place and it’s so much more enjoyable cycling around here now thank you!!! 2 things that would have made it slightly better 1. I hot desk and one of the small offices I work from it’s about a cm or 2 to high to go under the desk. 2. Should have built in bungee on the roller rack like your other Brompton have. 3. I know I thought I just had 2 but here goes the detachable pedal feels like it’s an accident waiting to happen with me- like somehow I’ll forget or lose even though it has its own port on the bike. Also I find it quite hard to detach from the bike so I almost never do it. I’d definitely recommend this bike to all.. it rocks! It is definitely on the expensive side and it’s so beautiful looking I do worry that it’s a desirable piece of kit for folk who might want to pinch so I’m aware I don’t lock outside like I do with other bikes. Which also means I’m not using as transport for things like going to the cinema where it’s not gonna be practice to take inside. I’ve purchased through the cycle to work scheme that definitely makes it affordable!

Beautifully built. Well designed and well specified. The folding mechanism is the best and it certainly feels and rides like a 'normal' bike. Loving it so far.
